Hi I'm Voodin, this name was granted to me in a stroke of accidental genius when my friends have misspelled their previous honorific toward me in the past, it is a complex derivative of my true name.

My first project(plot drop inbound) is about an invasion of skeletons in the human world, whom arrive disguised as humans- thanks to an advance in magic-based technology- to conquer the three domains Heaven, Hell, and Earth. So the devil sends advocates to awaken magic within humans to ward the skeletons away. It's going to be a genre-gumbo of fantasy, fanservice wink, comedy, action and a touch of romance.

The characters can have place holder names until I'm ready for release, but I wont stand for this comic to be unnamed!

Personally, I'm aiming for a bone joke, like Fracture or Dislocation. But I'd like to hear from you guys!

Greatly appreciated!

Bleak Marrow? Thing looks bleak and Bone Marrow? Geddit?

Tibia, or not tibia

The Straight And Marrow

Stress Fracture

Joint Venture

Radius

"Skels from Hell"

"Broken Bones"

"Dark Skulls"

"Skull Wars"

"Damn Skeletons"

That's all I got for now.. "Broken Bones" would be my pick if it's not already taken..

Start word-mapping. Bust out your dictionary and thesaurus and just start crawling over words.

It took me a long time to settle on my comic's name, but it can be broken down in two ways, both of which have a lot of meaning (one with more symbolism, one more straight-forward). Took me awhile to settle upon it and I am proud of it. ^^;

I am terrible at naming things, so I can't give you any recommendations, but start with what you have here and what others have suggested, write it down, and just start playing with words! You'll know when you find the right title, I'm sure.

I stayed up all night and I've got it "Dislocated" because it's about an army of skeletons generally not being where they're supposed to be, but I like your recommendations so much, I'm working them into my story

@Zannen00 Bleak Marrow gave me an idea for a skeleton hierarchy, In which yellow is low ranking, red is high ranking.

@andres8ol @ragraphx Femur Dream, and Broken Bones could be for special issues of it.

Thanks guys, Im quick handed so expect the first chapter by next week.

Rule number … something: Make sure there is NOT a comic by that name!

My lovely friend Sera does the webcomic Fracture. http://tapastic.com/series/fracture2

For my second webcomic I did research and found nothing, but when I launched it another had launched within days … it had the same name. We talked and it was cool, but I later renamed out of personal reasons and found a stronger title for my work. I wasn't attached to the name and it suited their work better anyway!

@Voodin You could probably have a lot of fun with all these ideas here for issues, as you said, or even chapter titles!

Naming things can be hard.

A lot of the ideas here are pretty great titles you can use I think. You could possibly go the route of naming it after an aspect of bone. Stuff like "Calcium" or "Marrow".
