Since my job can be fricken exhausting (that's retail for you!) I gave myself a buffer of almost 40 pages of Burning Bright before I even considered posting, since most days I just wanna come home, fall into bed and marathon a show on netflix. XD

It's definitely made things easier and a thousand times less stressful. I know if I had zero buffer I would come to just loathe my own comic - and who would wanna read it, then? lol

The amount of buffer I have is pretty much non existent but I know how much time it takes for me to work on a page and I have the general outline and thumbs for the chapter already done. I have a very limited amount of time I can dedicate to my comic so I do my best with what I got. I may try working on building up that buffer now since it's the holidays. Shurgs Not the best thing for the comic but I know that I will continue to post pages because I'm dedicated to the story.

Mmm buffers. Buffers kind depend. I go from having a months worth to having none because I just end up with super motivational periods and times when I just.... can't. lol. But to each their own! I have a friend who always has months and month too~

As it comes to comics it depends on how long you take to create a page. I can do that in a day if the lay-out is simple. I have buffer for three months and I update weekly.

I'm a self-confessed buffer addict. I find I have my weekends fill up with family stuff super fast, so I do things when I can, and the more buffer, the better! x.x I had one for a bit that was pushing about 2 months worth at 2 pages a week when I hit some personal life trouble. Man! I was so happy I had that buffer....

I've had buffers of 5-10 pages or so in the past, but at the moment I have none. My pages take too long for me to have time to build up a buffer again if I lose it. I do like to have a buffer of pencilled pages when I can manage it, but a couple of months ago I ended up so far ahead of the updates that I lost track of what I had planned for the page by the time I got to inking it.

Tried setting one up once, but I ended up uploading it before it was even necessary, due to impatience that plagued me at the time.

I update twice a week, and I haven't had a buffer in over a year. I'd love to have one, but it's impossible for me.
If you're just getting started, a month or so is good, I think.

I have no buffer for my comics. I JUST POST THE PAGES AS I MAKE THEM ): D which is .. really fun, actually. it helps me be more productive too!! But, I do always feel the need to work on more pages and further continue the stories. I always want to do more!!! its difficult to stop myself from working lol.

i don't have a buffer currently, i used to have a 25 comic buffer. but then stuff happened.

I'm updating my comic on a weekly base (+specials sometimes) and I have a buffer from around 6 to 8 episodes. It is quite a bit but when I draw, I can't stop. :>

Right now my buffer is about 60 pages (50 of them colored.. Which is the first chapter of my comic, the others I don't plan to color xD) but since I plan to update twice a week.. My buffer will just grow, specially now that I decided that I won't color my pages (Just drawing pages instead of drawing and coloring is waaay faster).

My buffer right now for Outside the Box is... two. But I have the whole story planned out, and I'm sticking to one page a week (for now!), and I just finished sketching page 15. So if I keep it up, I should be able to grow a big enough buffer!

It seems whenever I make a buffer I end up having to use it, so I don't really have a buffer. I want to at least have a 5-10 page buffer but we'll see if I can accomplish that, haha.

Buffers are soooo important, though. Can't stress it enough. Your readers will appreciate that even when you have a full schedule you are able to update. I didn't really come up with resolutions this year, but if I could make one it would be to have some sort of buffer going, I think.

Right now, Hearts has a 2 page buffer. Depending on how long it takes me to complete the next pages, I may just add them to the buffer. If I take too long, I'll post the page and continue with 2 pages stored.

My buffer is 50 pages (2 chapters) with updates of 4-5 pages a week. But I feel I'll have to drop to 15-25 soon, which is still a safe margin. I could say is very time consuming, but it happens I don't have much time to consume. u.u'

I think I started with a 20 page buffer for my main comic and now it has a 30 page buffer. My side comic has no buffer though XD For both I only post once a week but I try to do multiple pages for my main one when I can.

Well I started with 2 pages. I think for now on I'm going to have at least eight pages drawn per time. Though that may mean slower updates.
