As the title says, I've been getting flooded with notifications from Tapas itself about comics its shilling for, and I am quite beyond sick of it at this point. In the past two days I've had SEVEN notifications, only one of them was from someone I'm actually following because I care about their content. The rest is advertisements for series that, I will be blunt and say: I do not give, a rat's taint about.

Is there any way to opt out of notifications about new comics, premium or otherwise? If I find something I want to read, it will be because I go browsing on here to find it; and not because Tapas has yet again felt it necessary to bug me about something for the third or fourth time that DAY. I don't even READ the notifications anymore, I see the Ink symbol, I immediately hit mark as read and never look at it again.

And seriously, I don't fucking care about your premium comics Tapas. I NEVER WILL.

I don't know OF a way to disable them, but I can tell you I do not get them, so I'm sure there is a way to disable it.

there's one......leaving Tapas.....but that's not a price people are willing to pay....unless they get way too annoyed.......

I've been giving it more and more thought. I used to come here repeatedly every day, now I barely check in once every two or three days. This website has gone downhill rapidly with the redesign. Only reason I keep coming back is because this website is looser with certain regulations Webtoons is anal about; and there are still a few comics left that keep me coming here still.

I hate what this place has become.

I agree so much with this! The premium comics they advertise from what I've seen were also premium on other sites and it's mostly the same crap with either these royalty arranged marriages or something akin to Kpop and I'm sick of it. If I wasn't a content creator with over 1k readers I would have left long ago.

You can't. Thou shall dress a villainess dress and suffer with love for your kpop duke with generic historical unaccurate garments.

I think this is exactly what they want...so they could nuke the whole forums and comunity comics and go all kakao mode.

As if a giant banner in the front page, a small banner below, "Staff's pick", and "New Release" aren't enough. A new premium comic can rake more than 2k sub in a day.

Also in desktop/mobile (not app), they probably don't promote as aggressively as in the app.

I wish there was, staff picks are enough to give author subs, they have a lot of "groups" to promote novels/comics on pain page for tapas (site, i don't use the app so i don't know)
