How long does it take you to finish one comic page?(on average)

The last time my team tracked our time on pages for Kamikaze it was roughly 80 hours between the 3 of us. So about 27 hours each. That count was done last year, and since then we've gotten a lot faster and found tools that drastically reduce the time. I don't have a full estimate, but I'd say each page takes more like 40 to 50 hours now (depending on complexity, a splash is nothin compared to a 13 panel page).

What takes the most time are the inks, paints and backgrounds. Since Kamikaze is made to look like it's screen captures of animation there's a lot more work involved. Hence, the time it takes to make a page. ^^;;;;;

I don't really track my time for layouts or post production, though I'd say the latter takes 30 to an hour based on if I have to do anything special for the page (like sound effects). I do all my layouts at the same time because I plan chapter by chapter, so I have no idea on that end. The average time it takes me to draw a page digitally is 5 hours & 30 minutes.

It takes me about 6 hours of active work to finish one page of Starbird Island, no pauses. I recorded one of my drawing sessions so that's how I know.

For a full-color page, I usually draw it over the course of about three days, taking frequent breaks for health and sanity reasons. I can do it in one day if I really sit down and focus, but I'm never happy about it, lol.

Single page? 7-9 hours on a good day. That includes lining, coloring, and shading.

Often times I just do all the lines for 5 pages then go back and color them which seemingly cuts the time I spend on a page down, but I still take around 4 hours to color completely.

A single page for me from sketch to finishing touches takes anywhere from 4-6 hours. It usually takes longer in reality though because I get distracted, so 7-8 hours is about right.

for Laid in Lavender, it's roughly 4-5 hours from thumbnail - finished... i'm not sure how long it took me to panel the pages, but thumbnails are very quick.

4-6 hours to pencil depending on the detail versus how tight I pencil. 6-8 hours to ink- a lot of the details that I leave out in the pencil stage is because I will render it in the inking stage. 6-10 hours to color pending on the complexity & detail of the page plus effects...coloring is the most time consuming of all my art page chores. 2 hrs or less lettering; I usually know what I want in terms of lettering & sound FX(if any SFX on the page), so this part of the process goes pretty quickly.

For my comic, it takes 1-2 hours to sketch a page on paper, and the digital process of vectoring it often takes 8-12 hours. A few of the most difficult pages took an estimated 15 hours to vector. The time to add the finishing touches after exporting it can range from a few minutes to another hour.

For me it can take weeks, but I only do strips and most of that time the comic sits on my computer untouched until I have a sudden burst of motivation then I finish it in a couple hours. So in reality It takes me a few hours not counting me being lazy

6 to 8 hours...I think. I never timed myself.
A complex background increases that by about an hour or 2 (sometimes even 4).
If I am drawing a page with 3 panels instead of the usual 6, decreases that by an hour or 2.

Panels with just one character in a medium shot are the quickest to draw. If a page has several of those, they usually are done faster. The more character per panel, the longer it takes. Children are faster to draw than the adults.

I normally take roughly around 3-9 hours depending on the complexity as well as it being spread over my free times when I actually feel like drawing (Been a hectic month). My recent page for Jim's Days took roughly a week to make, with roughly 6 hours of work on it because of scheduling issues.

There are days I just sprint through the pages and others I can barely do a single line concentrated.

I used to be faster with the comic pages, but since I started adding more details until I'm happy with my results, one page usually takes me around 7 hours.
I found out that working pages in pairs makes it a lot faster, I finish two pages in around 10 hours.
Also, I kind of work faster while streaming, because I don't have other distractions like facebook or other social media. (For example, this is the lastest streaming, around 2 hours to sketches and lineart )

but when I'm doing full colour pages I can spend 5-8 hours for each... depending on the complexity of the frames.
