How long do you guys wait between finishing posting novel #1 and starting to post the next one? They are not sequel, and in different genres/key. Does it matter? Is it better to basically start the new one the very next day or wait a week or two?

I don't think it matters too much as long as you know how fast/frequent you anticipate posting future chapters. You don't want to burn yourself out.

You've got good momentum going. I say maybe give it a week to check your work and then start then. Your subscribers have got in the habit of checking your channel for the latest episode.

Yeah, I agree with @cherrystark - I think you could start posting the week before you finished your first story, the day after, a week or month after. As long as you’re not burning yourself out, any time should be fine

I’m giving myself a 2-week break between series for polishing and breathing room lol but it’s up to your own drive really

I sometimes take a break and sometimes don't. It has rarely affected things so it's more about my head space than it is about my audience disappearing.

.... guilty of posting more than one at once and neglecting one of them until I get writers block and the main one and I jump back over to the secondary one for a moment...

though at the moment, my book The Dark Queen is a sort of prequel to Lady Death, so I am trying to finish Lady Death so I can accurately write The Dark Queen

I'm doing it the same way as @hannahlaine and post several novels at once. I do however take a bit of a break after I finish writing one novel before I start the next. I don't really have a set time for that and just decide depending on what I want to do in that time. Like, I normally use it to edit something or write a few additional chapters for the other projects that are currently running. When I've done that, I start writing, stock up a few chapters, and then start to post when I think that I have a feeling for how the novel is supposed to go.

Writing them and posting them, or just posting them? Cause I do like several others and use the schedule feature to post a few a time here and there. That doesn't mean they ALL get attention (or rather most get no attention lol) But I feel they have a better chance of getting attention on this site than other sites I've posted to before. I'm actually slowly working on scheduling up my Completed stories here so that my portfolio isn't bogged down by the NEVER SHALL BE COMPLETED terror that is the rest of my stuff on the internet lol

Just posting. I do not leave stories unfinished. Since I started in 2018, I had started publishing than deleted only one story out of nine, because it had zero audience appeal. Everything else to date I have finished.

If I abandon a story, it will likely be I gave up on writing altogether
