I rarely drink coffee except when I'm going over 2 days without sleep then I start off with one cup then it gradually multiplies the longer I go without sleep. Sometime I get like 1 cup on a random occasion when I'm just really lethargic, however, I never drink hot coffee, (I hate the taste). It has to at least be iced, and preferred with lots of extra flavor to wipe out the taste of coffee. (I don't like the taste of coffee).
I drink rootbeer once in a blue moon. Other than that I don't touch soda.

I am relieved to see the amount of non-caffeine-dependents about. Contemporary culture makes me feel like the only one. Maybe in 20 years it will be abhorred and shunned as nicotine is now. Or maybe it will be a cult that to resist means death. Either way it is ultimately bad news.
I drink iced tea, but only because I like the flavor of it. If I could have it without caffeine, I would. I am still killing myself with flavored sugar water, but I suppose just being awake is a mild form of dying. I cherish my present level of control over whether I am awake or not.
I drank heaps of fully caffeinated Coke Cola the first half of my life, to the degree that it was apparently a joke to those around me. I am uncertain how I survived.

I'm not really a coffee person. I will do tea and diet Pepsi or Diet Dr. Pepper

I'm a tea drinker and I usually reach my maximum energy through one cup in the morning, preferably black without sugar or cream.

I live in the U.S. Northwest (Portland) where you can’t sling a cat without hitting a barista. I don’t consider myself a coffee snob, but I probably drink far too much to have a steady pen. smile I’m hoping to go more decaf in the future.

I tend to have two cups a day. Any more and I start to shake and I get paranoid people think I'm paranoid.

On average I probably drink one cup of coffee and one cup of tea a day. Anything more and I get jittery.

I think you are overreacting just a little bit. While caffeine is not good for you, if you drink a little your body will be able to process and handle it. Death by caffeine would be really really hard. I drink soda occasionally, and I am most certainly not addicted or unhealthy at all really. It's really not as bad as you make it out to be. Just like alcohol, it's fine when you consume it responsibly.

I exaggerate! But I know people who get attached to it, and proud that they are attached, and I have enough attachments! It is bad enough that I have to EAT every day.

18 days later

On a good day it's normally a cup and a half in the morning, and tea in the afternoon.

On a bad day, two cups in the morning, a cup in the afternoon, give a take another (depending on if it's convention-time or not)

It really depends on the workload/how stressed I am. If there's not much work or if my mind is at ease, then I don't drink caffeine at all. However, if there's a crapton of work or my nerves are rattled, I chug coffee can after coffee can like there's no tomorrow.

I remember when I had my finals, I'd drink reallly strong black coffee with a lot of sugar to keep myself awake and concentrated during cram sessions. It's a wonder I didn't get diabetes or something, seriously.

2-3 cups a day. Black, with sugar or cream, it doesn't matter. Tea & water the rest of the time. My thing with coffee is I can have a cup before i go to sleep and still pass right out just fine. It's...comforting.

2 per day (breakfast and after lunch,
3 in case I wake up sleepy >.< (morning, mid-morning lol, and afternoon)

I don't count as alive in the morning until I've had coffee. So I "need" at least 1 cup. I did give up coffee for a period of time, but I work in a coffee shop and I love coffee, so I went back to my old ways mwahaha. I like tea, too, but for me coffee doesn't replace tea; they're different drinks. On average, I probably have about 2 cups of coffee a day. I don't think that's unreasonable ^.^

I never drink coffee, can't stand the taste of it >__> even when I was going through finals, with little to no sleep, I TRIED to drink coffee but I just can't have it. I have tea every now and then, but it's because I like it and helps me relax (one of my fave setups is having Earl Grey while inking, I need to be in a calm state of mind to ink properly haha), or hot chocolate when it's cold. I also love Mountain Dew but we don't have it where I live so that's not an option :c

Honestly when it comes to "having energy" I'm mostly trying to have decent sleep schedules lol. Don't underestimate sleep, sleep is important

Is it bad that I take like 4 sometimes 5 mugs of coffee a day? I don't know why but caffeine doesn't really help me to stay awake that much at night when I'm drawing.I can even sleep well after drinking coffee....is that bad? O__O

I don't drink much coffee: usually when I'm studying, or those times when I get up and feel like I'm going to fall asleep in class. I do drink Coke though, mostly when I'm with friends.

Not nearly as much as I did in college, haha. I could have been a Red Bull/Rockstar/Dunkin Donuts spokesman with the amount of the stuff I was drinking. And when couldn't afford that, it was caffeine pills. Now I've slowed down... a cup of coffee in the morning, a Red Bull in the evening if I'm feeling like having a treat.
