As a 90's kid, I was into the Danny Phantom fandom at first online lol. I was allowed to roam Deviant art at 14...The internet was on simpler times and adults didn't know how computers worked lol. I was a good kid though, so I stayed away from the...horny jail side of stuff.

I don't think I actually ever was in a fandom? Like I never really drew a lot of fanarts or write fanfiction or wanted to bond with people over a cartoon
But there is a fandom important for me. Just a couple of months before I first got on the internet I was reading Loveless manga and somehow after a few hours of browsing I found a Loveless rp forum... and I kinda stayed there for 6 years Can't really say I was into Loveless a lot, but what happened happened, I got myself a canonical role, bonded with a lot of people on that forum, wrote some working rules of the universe magic, etc, etc, and this alter-ego is kinda still with me and I treasure it a lot.

I was never a fandom type of guy, so my participation in any one thing was really modest up until I found the furry fandom at the ripe young age of 22 xD

The most unusual thing about me is that I have been following a hecktoon of webcomics and indepent artists before I joined the fandom... I have a folder on my browser with over 50 links to webcomics that I still follow to this day.
And that is because I purged some of the REAAAAAALY old and non-update ones anymore.

It's a company that would (and still does) make these little flash games called AdventureQuest, DragonFable, etc., and I used to play ALL their games. Their games are all on a single timeline, and little me LOVED that!

ok since I was beginning u when the internet (LAN) was getting accesible to ppl here... I didnt heard the word fandom till a lot of years later....
so when I was finally getting on the net I was very deep on Yami no Matsuei (still am), Eatman, FF6 and 7 and Evangelion

the first anime I could say I was really in as in a fandom was Death Note (I even was a mod for a big spaniard forum back in taht time lol)

I think most of my early internet experiences were with the Powerpuff Girls (there's a PPG fanfic I remember reading way back in the early 2000s), but I think my first proper interactions with any sort of fandom was Pokémon. There's a Pokémon forum I used to troll around on, though thinking back on it makes me cringe, haha.

I think maybe the first one was Naruto. I used to use this defunkt site (it was sort of like DeviantArt but worse) I would look at other people's work and add my own. I was also fandom trash, because I was like 15.
