I have 3 main characters, one female, one male and one a gender-unspecified dragon.
I think I tell a bit more of the story from her perspective though.

Bestia from Bestia's Wrath is female and she's big and buff. Bestia's Wrath is a Star Wars fancomic about my version of a canon sith lord who has had enough of the sith emperor's bullshit, sets out to fight him, but instead finds herself in the unlikely role of a hero \ rebellion leader. There are also other prominent female characters, like Lana Beniko, a canon character who saves Bestia from being a frozen hunk of carbonite, and also Bestia's daughter who is undead and is chasing the sith emperor around the galaxy, as well as others.

The Lost Firstborn, an origin story for my DC New Gods character, has a non-binary protagonist, although that will \ might come up later on in the story.

edit: both of my stories fall under scifi I guess

I tend to project on my main characters a lot, so I'd say the majority of them are male

Mine aren't comics so they might not count but I usually try to do a decent mix of both in my books, but I went ahead and voted female.

Draygon Frost the primary lead is a woman with a couple of secondary MC's that are Female and Male. In the sequel there's a second POV in it that is male but the primary lead is still female. It's a High Fantasy book. Then I have a character that takes a slightly bigger role in the sequel Draygon Inferno that could probably be considered gender fluid if I really had to slap a real world label on them. Born a male, the character doesn't really identify with any sex and will use something called a changeling potion to change to whatever gender they feel like being at any given time. When trapped in one body for too long they feel not whole.

Guardian of Calandria there's actually 3 POV MC's in the book, 1 female and 2 male. I'd say the primary MC is the female character. Also a high fantasy.

I always wanted to have a POC girl as a protagonist in one of my stories. Also, there are only 2 male characters in my comic, and they are side characters. I just really like drawing girls more than guys.

My protagonist is female. As well as most of the supporting cast. There's no real reason for this, but it's helping me get better at drawing girls. Before I kinda just drew them the same way I drew boys, but with breasts.

There are three main characters in my story that all take focus in a chapter depending on what happens. Dee is important in this chapter and arguably the next will be more focused on fadil. That said, one of the three mains is a girl and one is a boy, the other is still ??? bout gender

Most of my characters are men, but the main cast itself is made of 3 men (one a salamander), 3 women and a plant.

I have a lot of characters in my comic with their own story, but the main characters are these two, a man named Axelott and a woman named Joanette.

The comic title is "A Man Called Ravenlord"
Well, maybe you may think that the main character is a man named Ravenlord, while actually the title is telling about the rising legend in the world they're living in.

Legend said that Ravenlord is a fierce lone-wolf warrior that's unpredictable, undefeated in combat, slayer of the bandits, a cursed prince of ravens, king of crows, a passionate lover, stealer of wives, and killing him in a duel will grant you fame and fortune.
Where does the legend come from?
Is the legend true? Is it just another myth? or is there any truth behind the legend? or is there something else to uncover?

I have an ensemble cast of three women, three men, but I suppose one of the men is the biggest driver of the plot so it goes to him by a slim margin

In Terra Prima there are three main characters, one is female, the other is male, and the third is... well gender doesn't apply but he currently looks male.

I also did a quick count of the other characters who are important to the story and I have 19 females, 17 males, and 3 non-binary.

I tend to write stories with male main characters for some reason. I'd like to write more female main characters, but I'd have to think of stories where the main characters being female feels right and not forced.

(The genres for these stories are Comedy and Fantasy respectively.)

I have a lot of women in my comic, not to say men don't play a part in my story, but there is a larger amount of women in my story.

Honestly both. I try to split the story between me male and female characters. Unfortunately the male character has a stronger personality that demands attention so I have to work a little harder for the female character who usually questions most everything. But with time she will fall a little off the rails and become a more attention demanding character later. But, the love aspect of the comic has nothing to do with the MC liking each other, (not to mention that age gap). My female character isn't the beauty either, I would say she is rather average.
