For creators who have more than one series on the go, how do you handle maintaining them both? in terms of schedule, and mindset? are there any particular tricks youve picked up about producing several series at once, and anything youve found particularly challenging about it?

hmm i have my main series and then my side series! i update the main one on a regular schedule and the side one is just for fun, so i can alternate without being too pressured

I chop up the week and stay on a consistent schedule.
Mondays and Tuesdays are for working on Demon House
Wednesdays are for Heavy Horns
Thursdays are for Sarota Springs.
And if I have any time between them I'll work on other art projects, but I generally like to save Fridays for commissions or as a rest day if I feel shitty or have chores to do.

The only challenging part is if you can't finish what you intend to on the allotted day, because then it pushes back the others. But usually if I put in some overtime late at night or on the weekends it works out.

I developed a big enough buffer on one series to have a lot of free time to work on a side project. I update my main fridays and mondays and my side wednesdays.

I had certain days where I would write for both of my main series and then update them throughout the week or every so often.

First I think about which one I want to work on.
Then I look at which one hasn't received an update lately.
Then I stress out a lot.
What have I done.
Why did start so many at once.
Hello darkness.

Damn, you huslting hard, I respect that haha ! I'll soon start to work on a second comic for a client, hopefully I can manage both (plus commission). I guess being organize and having a strict work ethic help a lot.

I ended up putting my less popular one on hiatus tbh^^;

Once my (now) main one got triple the subs of the other one it just got too difficult to motivate splitting my time, since I really didn't want to risk missing updates and stopping the (admittedly slow but steady) growth of my main.

I have 2 chapters (about 50 pages) of my comedy comic fully scripted tho, so once my sci-fi romance is securely over a 100 subs I'll try to keep both running again for a while

I use my second one for random stuff or short sidecomics. So there is not much presure. But honestly i planed to make a sidecomic atleast once a month.... Well, my job happend, but having a job is nice aswell.

Considering it takes me (with my full-time job) about 2-3 days to complete one page of my main comic, my side ones sit on hiatus until I can afford to pay artists to draw them...

I don't buhuhuhu

but I'm trying a new thing where I worked on a new comic and create material to publish for two months, now I have a little bit of free time and I can work on my other comic.
