Hello!
I don't have any particular reason to make this topic, other than being happy to have finished the comic I began drawing about 2 and a half years ago. In hindsight it's not that great, but if nothing else I learned a lot about drawing on the way. If anyone would like to take a look, here's the link:

Feel free to tell me what you think, and also, to others who have finished their comics: I would be curious to know how long it usually takes from idea to finish, and how many pages they tend to end up being.

Congrats on finishing!! It must feel great to have completed such a task! I can't wait to I finish mine someday!

Just from reading the first episode, It's clear you deserved more subs and views than you got. Artwork reminds me of the Beano, only more appealing. Characters are instantly likeable, and the dialogue is fun and engaging. Awesome piece of work. You should be proud.

Congratulations on finishing first! I'll have a look at the comic later when I have a bit more time :slight_smile:

Congrats! :sparkles: How do you feel now? Happy that you finished it, tired and wanting to make something new, or maybe missing the characters already?

@irene_addler Thank you!
@snowy Your compliments really warm my heart! Hadn't heard of the Beano before, I suppose British comics are largely unknown to me. Thank you so much!
@yansusu Thank you too!
@Lunar-Turtle It is!
@Kelheor Thank you! I'm glad to be finished, but am also tired. I would like to make something new, and have some vague ideas, but it's not likely that will happen for a pretty long time. I suppose I miss the characters, but at least I feel I left them in a fairly good place.

Congratulations on finishing! Your Comic seems really rad, I´ll have to give it a read later!
As to finishing comics, my first project took me a year, had about 100 pages, a crime mystery (maybe as encouragement: I never reached a lot of subs or views with it, but learned so much from it!)

I didn't know you are on Tapas as well! I read your comic on Webtoons, but haven't continued since February or so. Time to catch up. Congratulations on finishing it! :smile:

Before I even started reading, this looks 100% hand drawn and colored (at least the first chapter), in which case you deserve mad props.

Congrats on finishing. When I finished my comic2, it really gave me a sense of accomplishment.

I respect your stamina. I don't even have 18 posts yet--70 seems huuuuge.

@Merle Thank you! It certainly is a learning experience. Here's the first version of the second page of my comic, compared to which the last page looks pretty good:

.
@Azifri Thank you! Nice to hear from a reader on Webtoons!
@BlueWorldComics, Thank you! Drawing and coloring by hand is a lot of work sometimes, but ironically it's largely because I'm too lazy to learn how to do it digitally... Your comic seems like a lot of fun! The narration reminds me of Spaceman Spiff from Calvin and Hobbes, and it's nice to see bold stylistic choices and characters with "Rayman-anatomy"!
@JRHoch Thank you! 70 would have seemed huge to me too in the early stages, but you get there before you know it! (Not that page count is an end in itself.) Your comic really has a unique and feverish style!

Jävla bra kompis.

Congrats. What a great feeling you may have right now.

I wish you all the best.

Crongrats! Finishing something is a huge acomplishment

So awesome you completed it! I never seem to be able to finish a story without overwhelming myself :sweat_smile:
I'm super impressed XD

Wow! Congratulations!
You must be very satisfied.

Btw i want to read it nut the link is not found > <

Why thank you! I think the link in the original post should be working?

I'll search it by name... there is it.! Easy

I like the drawings, they are pretty unique!
