I seem to be reviewing a lot on the forums, so I figured I might as well have my own thread for it! blush

Whenever I start something new (art, storytelling, music) I like to immerse myself in it first. If I want to draw manga, I read lots of manga and anime. If I want to play a classical piano piece in a jazzier way I'll listen to jazzy piano music. If I want to write a comedy, I'll read something with the style of humour that I want to write. The list goes on.
Currently I want to start a webcomic, so guess what?

I am still trying to find a style and theme that suits me, so I want to immerse myself in lots of different styles, themes and genres to inspire me to create something unique and original. Post your webcomic below and I'll review it for you! You help inspire me and I help you improve your webcomic (hopefully). Everyone wins smile

BUT I will not review anything that will make me feel sick inside or that would be awkward to be caught reading. If you are unsure PLEASE ask.
Horrors, gore, sex scenes, extreme nudity (bums are fine), extreme violence and so-such.

That aside, I can't wait to get started and I'm looking forward to reading some awesome webcomics!

My webcomic is Polyphemus8! It's not very long yet but I'd love for you to review it and I'd be really excited to see you create something yourself!

I'd love to give it a try C: My webcomic is 6,751 - it's a (mostly) traditionally drawn fantasy serie. It already has almost 4 chapters, so I understand if you don't want to review all of it, though I'm really interested to read what you think of it~
Thank you in advance for reviewing! C:

Hmm okay! My manga is Model Student3! Not much has happened yet though so it's okay if you don't have much to say!~^^b

I'm already subbed to your comic so this is nice and easy! blush
Also, sorry I'm biased because I absolutely LOVE your comic.
(Not really sorry)

Storytelling:
I like your storyline so far, it's easy to follow but I find that I forget things between uploads (Not necessarily your fault, I have a VERY big reading list around 225). Sometimes I feel like I need a little more information as I don't know the legend this is based off (my own fault)

Your dialogue flows nicely between characters and I like how you have adjusted the language they use to suit the time period.

Art:
First things first, I really like your character designs, they suit the theme of your comic and are easy to tell apart. Also your sheep are adorable smile

Your outlines are sometimes a little too thick but I can tell that you've been working on that in your new chapter.

You have a pretty good grasp of colour theory but sometimes your proportions are a little off. Saying that, your landscapes are beautiful and in proportion, I'm mainly talking about the table scene in chapter two.

Your pages always have a clear and consistent light source.

ODYSSEUS HAIR IN CHAPTER TWO:
Is amazing.
Yes, I do in fact have a whole section devoted just to that.
Hee hee

Your Webcomic as a Whole:
I like how you interact heaps with your readers and answer questions (sea water, sand and magic).
Your artwork is nice and suits the theme of your comic and I love to see how you're constantly improving.
Can't wait for more!

70 points! (points are irrelevant and completely unrelated to each other but I thought I'd put them here anyway)

Sorry, it's a little choppy to read as I'm currently experiencing a glitch where if I try to type before what I have already typed it deletes what I just typed! frowning

No problem! blush Let's do this!
looks at comic
sees 174 episodes
Seeing as this is getting so many responses is it okay if I just review based on the prologue and a few recent pages?

Oh, well you can revie-

................

Thanks so much for the review and the kind words! They've made me very happy. (: This is really good advice - especially the part about you feeling like you need more information. It's definitely not your fault for not knowing the myth! I sometimes forget that not everybody knows all the background info and while I try to make up for this it's really good to know that I need to work on it some more! So thank you very much for that in particular. :DD Also thank you for the compliment on the landscapes! I always feel like they're my weakness. (:

Ahh, just thanks so much for taking the time to write this review, I'll definitely make sure to take all this advice on board in future pages! (Thank you again!!)

Catch my baby Bite Me1! It's about vampys so it includes biting, but nothing hardcore.
Have fun with it, and good luck with your webcomic ^^/

Cool, I'll check it out! Your username and profile pic always made me think it was a horror lol.

Okay, first things first HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE MORE SUBSCRIBERS.
Seriously dude, your comic is awesome and I haven't seen it anywhere yet. Start shamelessly plugging yourself, no one will really mind that much. (Maybe start a forum thread for other users to share their surreal fantasy comic?)

Also, this review is only based on the first two episodes as my internet is too slow for your comic frowning Sorry!

Storytelling:
The grammar is a little choppy and the dialogue can feel a little forced at times but I see that English isn't your first language so I would recommend finding someone who could read over your dialogue before you post it to check for any obvious errors.

I also noticed that the text went from typed to handwritten and then to a third font in the middle of the first episode, I would recommend keeping to the first typed font, the handwritten and second one are hard to read when coupled with the fancy speech bubbles.

I really like the description for your series, it's very intriguing and is probably one of the best I've read.

I sometimes feel like I need a little more information about what is going on so I would suggest having a bit of text narrating as well as the speech bubbles.

You've got some good humour there too!

Art:
Oh my gosh the ART. IS. AMAZING. It puts me in mind of tarot cards and old Celtic illustrations.

Your proportions can be a little off at times, I would recommend keeping character sheets of poses for your characters so they keep the same proportions throughout your comic.

Your character designs are beautiful!

The colours that you use are really beautiful, they flow really smoothly through the panels, giving your comic quite a majestic feel.

Your borders are really gorgeous and unique, but I'd recommend using plain ones (or at least less detailed ones) occasionally so that they don't distract from the rest of your artwork.

Also, just take a moment to applaud yourself for your amazing shading.

Your Webcomic as a Whole:
Can be slightly hard (only slightly) to follow at times but no one really cares because your art is so amazing. blush You've got some good reader-creator interactions going on so just keep plugging your comic and doing what your doing!

62 points! And a llama! (points are irrelevant and completely unrelated to each other but I thought I'd put them here anyway)

Okay, I've got a lot of responses to this so far and the reviews take a while to make up so I'll definitely review all of the ones above this post but I may not get to the ones after it. Just letting you all know.

It's barely started, but if you have the time, I would definitely love to hear feedback for the comic I just recently started : Set to Zero2. Thanks! :
