This is Isaac. After rumors circulated that the alien threat known as The Repentance are developing a super weapon, Isaac was given the mission of finding and possibly destroying whatever it is. With the pressure from his superiors to find an approach involving all remaining armies of Europe and abroad, Isaac must search all through enemy lines to salvage whatever is left of the WW2 conflict and aim in towards a single target. He just hopes he doesn't have to sacrifice Henri in the process.

This is Henri. After losing his mom during an alien air raid, Henri decided to find his father; a man he never met. Knowing little but the fact that his dad was in the French Resistance when he went missing, Henri joins the Spanish army as an Engineer in hopes that one day he can venture deep into enemy territory and track the man down. Though the cargo plane he was on did get shot down and his chances of survival are slim for his age and experience, Henri still trudges forward in hopes he will find the man who couldn't protect his mother.

This is Frank. After claiming to have crash landed in Spain, Frank and his abandoned army of clones managed to survive by reprogramming their drones to snatch wildlife and vegetation from the farthest corners of the globe in order to build and preserve their own ranch/farm/ark/zoo. Gaining inspiration from an old radio, Frank got a taste of the life humans share. So with nothing else to do, Frank aspired to enjoy everything Earth has to offer, though so far he's only delved into food and music. It's a start though...

Oh right... You can find them in The Rainy Days1

Eman Cruz... Filipino immigrant to Canada. Immigrated with his mom and dad. Mom and dad physically and verbally abusive. Only care about looking good when on the inside is all filth. Gets totally outcasted in school, bullied, rejected by girls, ends up on drugs... runs away from home... and shot to near death.

Finds himself recruited into an occult satanic super soldier cult that decides to do a mass shooting and bombing of a school in order to push forward gun control agenda to disarm the population. As Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and every dictator in world history has done before enslaving their own population.

Repents of being involved in that evil organization... decides to fight against it.

Claudita - fallen angel. Kicked out of heaven for repeated interference in the human world as humans are supposed to learn and grow from their mistakes and not supposed to be constantly babysitted.

Very kindhearted. But comes off as numb and cold and straight faced. Violence is last resort. Does best she can to avoid hurting or killing enemies. If killing you is the only option, the most painless route is used. Spirit swords. You get stabbed by those in one of your main chakra centers, you'd drop dead instantly. More painful to get bit by an ant than get hit by her spirit swords.

There... just my 2 main OCs...

It's time for the OC picnic!

Some are from original stories, some are from fanfictions, and some are from stories that never got off the ground. They all have their own stories, but there are a couple I'd like to highlight.

The two hugging in the left corner are Rowan (brown hair) and Tristan. They are my go-to girls when I have a story, but no clear characters yet. And, yes, they are dating.
The two blond girls with really long hair in the middle may look like twins, but they aren't even related. The one in the darker shirt is actually the embodiment of Pangea, and was mistaken for the other girl for almost the entire story.
And the two girls with white hair in the right corner are actually the same person. When I first started writing Ice Princess, it took place in a Japanese high school. Yuki, the girl in the blue shirt, was the lead, and was confrontational and headstrong. When I shifted the setting to the ambiguous one it is now, she became Gwen (the other girl) and her personality was mellowed out.

Nicollas is a Brazilian boy that found himself in the middle of a mysterious (and still not addressed) accident inside a toy store. That day he received amazing powers and soon became MAXIBOY, hero of all, wanting to help others with what he now has.
While loved by all as a hero, Nicollas is actually quite a shy little dude. He has three friends, one of them being his Mom and other being an elephant. He doesn't bully others or is bullied himself. He's not cool, but he's not lame. He's just there.
Many of his issues come from his father leaving his mother before he was even born. He never met his father. He barely knows anything about him. It sucks.
But, at his core, Maxiboy is a boy who wants to help however he can. He's already a pretty selfless and brave kid. Maxiboy is a bold kid in bold adventures! He also falls too easily in love. He's one of those.

ORLANDO is one of the most powerful sorcerer in the world. He's also chill as fuck.
When he was a kid, his mother died in a freak accident. He tried to bring her back, making a pact with some Multiversal devil force that backfired and left him locked for 3 years inside a hellish dimension, in a state of simultaneous existence and non-existence. Oops.
When he came back, though, he saw how the mechanics of our universe worked. Magic flows.
He now goes through life solving magic related problems. He does have a problem with empathy, meaning he has none. He's super apathetic and only solves problems because magic is the only thing that gives him his fix, his high. He's addicted to the feeling of it because it's all he feels after his devil pact trauma. The only person he likes is his girlfriend, Cristina, and even then he can be kind of an insensitive jerk.
The story I'm currently telling with him has absolutely nothing to do with all of this.

Sure, here's my two mains.

Pay no mind to the awful old sketch!

This is Julian, current guesstimated age is 26, height 5"1'. They were found in a sack by a creek at the age of 8, and spent the rest of their adolescences in an orphanage and various foster homes. Julian's real name, age, and origin, etc, are unknown. Coming to the orphanage with no identification, only knowing broken Russian (mostly profanity), and having no understanding of how anything works.
Julian is a passively suicidal melting pot if sickness, something is always wrong with them physically or mentally, which can make them a burden to others. Feeling the need to always be useful Julian is a workaholic with little development as a person, they never took the time to discover interests or hobbies, or gain a real sense of personhood. Also being a cynical pessimist who's stubbornly submissive, putting the lives of other's over their own, but will occasionally lash out due to over-stimulation or their poor health... or if they need a smoke. Sometimes having a complete meltdown.

This is Apollo Rivers, currently 26 years old, height 6"2'. Apollo was orphaned as a baby, instantly being adopted by a well off couple who wanted him for his unique eyes. After being paraded around in front of the press for a few months Apollo was dumped in a house with a nanny, hardly ever seeing his parents, and being left to his own devices. Finding Julian when playing at a small park with his nanny one morning, the two stuck together like glue till their late teens.
Apollo lives with a rare condition called ocular albinism which causes him to have eye problems such as extreme light sensitivity, bad depth perception, and nearsightedness. This condition has caused Apollo's irises to give a purple look under normal conditions, due to the pigment being iridescent enough for the blood vessels to show through. (If you were to shine a light in his eyes they'd show red) Being a kid who grew up in a sheltered environment, doing whatever he wanted Apollo became a party enthusiastic, alcoholic. He is an overly trusting, mostly apathetic, self-centered, dumb-dumb who's a little too excitable.
Apollo is an alcoholic due to a combination of loving to party, peer pressure, and a smidgen of guilt from something that happened between him and Julian when they were teens.

I'll go with my main three.

Here's Himuri. His species, Aoihito1 have blue hair and supernatural powers, which they can develop in a way they end up being specialized in one (or two or more in rare cases) element. Himuri choose fire because it helps him in his job in a kitchen. He's talkative, friendly and seems to be always smiling, though he's clumsy, often acts, before he thinks, is stubborn and self conscious about his height. He lives with his parents, younger sister and three cats.

Now this is Sakari. He's a mix of aoihito and a human, which makes him extremely powerful, but at the same time not able to fully control his powers at all times. He also has poor health because of that. He's specialized with light, because ability to heal is handy. Sakari is shy, quiet and his self esteem is non existent, but he's really skilled with drawing, sensitive and quite smart. He tries to go as unnoticed as possible, but it's kind of hard when your natural hair color is bright green. For most of his early childhood his only family was his human mom. Now he also has a stepfather and a lot of siblings. He does not know his biological father.

And lastly, Kiyomi. Another one of blue haired folks. She's specialized with fire and water. Kiyomi doesn't like to talk about anything involving her past (wow, so mysteriooouuus), including even her age and family and how she got all those star tattoos. She used to do some questionable stuff, but now she's long done with that. She's brave and wise but is stubborn, has a short temper and lacks patience.

really cool OCs!!

I don't really have a better picture of him right now, but this is the main protagonist of Heirs to the Crown3, Endres

He is relatively calm and quiet but gets livelier the better you get to know him and he can get angry if his loved ones don't take care of themselves. He also doesn't really notice when people flirt with him or he thinks they aren't serious about it (his traumas gave him some complexes oh boi), same goes with any kind of affection, whether platonic or romantic. He also has severe abandonment issues and is scared of showing feelings openly.
He is very skilled with pharmacy and generally loves working with plants, he enjoys poetry and his lute play is quite decent, and the older he gets, the more he enjoys to dress a bit more ...revealing (also he's a prince btw)

A prince suffering from past/current traumas, but is still sweet and soft inside and out??

I love him. :two_hearts:

Please do not delete the post entirely. I genuinely thought that your pronoun choice was purposeful but necessitated a little explanation.

Oooh, pff I've been on a roll lately. Maybe this is a sign that I need a vacation, lol. My apologies, I didn't think about the obvious. (hanging around the trans side of social media all the time I tend to forget that most people go by their AAB genders) I just threw the post out without rereading it for grammar and spelling mistakes, so I assumed my pronouns were all over the place... also I type the wrong stuff all the time.

Julian is a non-binary so I try to use neutral pronouns for them despite the character being in the closet, and them being called a dude throughout the comic. Apollo is just a "normy" cis-gendered/assigned at birth(AAB) gendered guy.

Again, super sorry! I legit thought I messed up my post.

I want to share my oc too. I think this is one of my most charismatic characters from Ani and Raphael2

Her name is Light, she is an adorable girl of 16 years, although due to her appearance most of people consider her chilling. She is a good friend, loyal and somewhat overprotective. For some reason she never shows her face and it is a mystery how can she see. She seems to have the power to turn her hair into tentacles. She hates her best friend's boyfriend (although some readers think she really loves him), but if her friend is happy with him she is willing to tolerate it.

You know what - before I talk about any of my OCs, I want to first talk about their development from the very beginning:

Currently, I'm working on a webcomic called Project SHaDe - a somewhat grim story with grim subject matter.

However, it wasn't always like this - when I was a wee lad (13 year old), I made a comic in my spare time called 'My Not So Ordinary Life' - a comedic story that featured characters directly modelled after my friends and myself, causing shenanigans and going on bizarre adventures.

Here is an excerpt from the earliest iterations.

From here, I would go on to create different iterations of the same type of comic, doing my best to improve layouts and general storytelling skills. Here's an example of another iteration of this comedic venture:

Over the 5 years of this comic's development though, my interests in both the media I consumed and my interests in storytelling changed and morphed, causing me to do whole revamps of the project. At the same time, some friends came and left, all the while as my outlook on life changed and morphed every now and then.

And so, a few ommissions of some characters, changes to said characters, and changes to the overarching plot and world, I found myself creating a comic called 'SHADE'

At this point, the characters departed from their original counterparts - no longer were they characters representing my friends, but more so characters in which I have drawn inspiration from said peers. Though I ended this comic quite abruptly, revamping it again, I consider it to be the prototype of my current comic now, Project SHaDe

I'll make another post about the OCs themselves - I'll probably focus on only a few of them.

I think I'll just talk about Kafka - our protagonist:

Originally, 'Kafka' was named along the lines of J (or Jun), and acted the part of the cynical and disgruntled narrator - this was mostly inspired by Kyon's narration throughout the show 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.'

However, he's had a make over - now, he acts the role of the silent observer. He certainly has some interesting thoughts, and sinister secrets that even he isn't aware of, but he is now much less cynical, and more soft-spoken and honest. He's cheeky every now and then, mostly due to his extreme curiosity. Overall, a pretty cool guy to know, but also the type where you would never know what was going on in his head.
Other traits of his would include a great interest in reading - most of the time, he borrows books from another character in the cast, but neglects to return it for months. Also, whenever he goes shopping for groceries, he always balances at least one bag on his head while he walks home.

He's a little strange that way.

Great entries you all!
Mine is perhaps one of the most boring here.

Kora Halin, the main character. Survivor of an earthquake in his village, and had to move to the city with his uncle after his mother died. Inexplicable things then started to happen which made him could never eat or sleep peacefully. He knew the dead always have a way to torment the living, but what if he was the dead?

He's a neurotic person who is socially awkward, have a polite and gentle mannerism, only to cover his emotional chaos. He's just lonely and desperate, but want to be strong, liked, and have significance. He also tends to act reckless, also did I mention it's hard for him to move on?

He's from here:
