List of Slow Burn Romances

Hey guys, I just wanted to make a place where people can post their slow burn romance works. I've seen lists for fantasies, scifis and BL novels, but not slow burns, even though quite a few people seem to appreciate them. So put them down below if your characters need at least a hundred pages to simmer through friendship into love.

Mine is slow and I feel bad for anyone who didn't read the tags lol. Though if you start now, something finally happened in the most recent release, so there's something to look forward to.

This story is primarily fantasy/action, but the romance it has is definitely slow burn.

Took me years to finally be able to announce it features a main character in LGBT+ romance because slow burn + general webcomic progress speed, but I was finally able to do it without fear of being accused of 'gay baiting'

I don't know if mine is considered slow-burn but it's already beyond 50k, and the main couple has yet to reunite, let alone develop any feelings 🤣

Mine is a historical (some fantasy) romance and it's pretty slow burn since any revealed feelings will result in a slow death by poison.

Strings and time is definitely a slow burn. I mean we all know that both main characters eventually end up together, but the path in which they take to be there is well, let's say troublesome. I mean, it even makes you wonder if it will be a healthy relationship.

I definitely enjoy writing complex characters and drama-filled story.

Pandora's Scar is primarily a mythology inspired urban fantasy, and the slow burn happens because one half of the inter-species alleged-main-couple attributes any feelings to a (literal!) accident and the other is too busy trying to outrun the monsters in the shadows. Nosy immortal relatives and threats of city scale destruction further complicate matters. They finally score a date in the beginning of Chapter 4, only to have things rapidly go south in the same chapter.

This both excites me and feels me with dread. I love slow burns but man, they also kill me XD Keen to see what everyone has going on here >w>

Anyway, this is my slow burner of a series where finally something has happened but
TLA is full of angst, comedy, dramatic flair with teenagers being stupid and doing annoying things. If you're into that (and of course, slow burns) then you're in for a treat! Happy Holidays, much love

Because, you know, really a lot of time have passed between the moment, when author started to draw, and the moment, when it happened...

It's very much a slow-burn romance, and it's a completed novel which I'm very proud of!

And I'll post Inheritance, too! It's primarily fantasy but romance is a big deal, too, and it's definitely a slow-burn.

There's defintely bromance in my series. It's a cyberpunk about two super powered police officers. Their foribidden and secret relationship is tested when an unimaginable incident separates them.
