I have a personal fondness for this little gem on my Webtoon mirror of Evil Witch Allie17.

The time an adult man told me he's attracted to one of my child characters is also pretty up there on the WTF scale, though. 0_0

What about you, though? What's weirdest/most uncomfortable thing someone has said about your comic either online or in person?

i drew one of my characters in pink socks back in march and one commenter is still making jokes about it on every new episode? like was it really that funny?

I haven't received many WTF comments on my original work, but on my fanfictions, I have. Honestly, writing fanfiction once was enough for me. After all the crazy comments I got, I don't plan to write fanfiction again. When I mean nutty comments, I mean readers were talking to themselves, making stupid fandom jokes, and just going on and on about topics that had nothing to do with the story.

I got one that went on about liking my comic so much that this person would be screaming if it wasn't for their gourmet lollipop. Then procceeded to elaborate on how Rainbow Sherbet is the best gourmet lollipop.

I got one on an episode where my characters were talking about suicide attempts and were hugging it out. It said, and I quote, "Okay you jumped on him hug him now all you have to do is pull down both yours and his pants and sit on his sausage "

I got one that said "F*ck me" on a random episode. Like, just "F*ck me", but like, uncensored. The same person asked "Can I have sex with you" on another episode. I couldn't figure out if this person was asking to be copulated by one of my characters or by me. Creepy either way.

A comment I once got on Youtube.

It went along the lines as...

"If I had a gun and was in a room with you and Hilter, I would shoot you then shoot myself."

Their avatar was that rabbit with aspergers from Arthur.

For someone trying to allude to something sexy, the phrase "sit on his sausage" is goofy as hell ,:1

WOAH lmao, wtf are they serious :joy::joy::joy:
man thats serious! they need to chill...

I've grown pretty tired of the words cute and hug. Coming up naturally in conversation sure, maybe. But when the most that can be said is "omg __ looks so cute" or "i want to hug __" it gets old kinda fast. Not that I don't appreciate people who like certain character designs or the personalities of a character but when does it get to go beyond that point of just being "cute and huggable"

Someone wanted to ship a mentor character with his underage student. I told them that's fucked up and the character is practically his father so it's borderline incest as well. They got all upset of course.

Bonus I got stoners on one of my comics asking what drugs I take and I told them I don't and my comic doesn't condone drug use, that scared them away.

Another bonus I also got perverts trying to rp weird sex scenarios on my non sexual comic and when I told them to stop, you're creeping me out they got offended. Yes, they got offended. No sense of shame or boundaries, i'm the one at fault here. I hurt their sensibilities, oh how ironic! lol

I've gotten a few weird ones. I'd summerise them as "I skimmed this, missed the point, and you suck!"
(Well, if he says so...)

I got told to use cel shading because everything other than cel shading is "dirty"
and quite a few times I get to told I'm not allowed my own style of drawing & that I should just copy someone else because apparently being original is some sort of sin that greatly offends people

so much..... lack of logic and common sense. Developing your own style is a natural part of making comics.

I'm kind of in a dilemma where fans want me to write more, but also I'm not really making anything worth doing with fanfiction
