Hey Dan, I like your reviewing methods, been reading a few of them and they're honest, fair, but not harsh, and I think a lot of people can appreciate that.

No rush at all, but if you could add Cosmic Fish to it, I'd love to see what's currently working and what isn't. Thanks a lot!

@snowshadow, @efdvorsky, added.

@conbon100101, will probably just do one of them, maybe Facade. BL is not my thing enough I don't think I could review SY fairly. Maybe if I can get one of my contributing reviewers to take a look it.

20 days later

Well it's been 3 weeks all, but I finally finished the first review requested here!

It's @infectedbloodcomics' The Green-Eyed Sniper2, which I gave an overall 2.5/5. I'm blunt and called problems I found, but overall think you can be proud of finishing the comic, and think the lessons you learned will serve your next project well.

Gotta say, I really enjoy reading your reviews. I am just getting into creating my own webcomic and these reviews are quite helpful with me getting it all organized. Keep up the good work.

if you ever have time i'd like to hear about SPIRE ,,
theres some stuff i'm already aware of like the ugly speech bubbles and pacing in chapter 1, it gets fixed in chapter 2.

I'll review it as a whole and if it bothers me enough to note it also make note when it gets better XD

A little scared to ask but I guess it'd be interesting to see a review of my series Marked

@Mid25 Added to me very long list, but I promise I'll get to it eventually. And in terms of fear, you have my review archvies to look back on and see my style and tone. I'm no Webcomic Police or Bad Webcomics Wiki. XD

@dan Hey, thanks a lot for the thorough review! Now that it's done, let me give you a little background about my ASS comic  (that really made me laugh) I didn't want to mention anything beforehand, because I didn't want to add potential biases of any kind to your review.

I started working seriously on comics about 2 years ago. Before then I couldn't draw and never wrote any actual comic - only stories in my head and, at times, on paper. I had in mind a very long story, but, being an absolute beginner, I was worried it would be a complete failure, so I came up with The Green-Eyed Sniper for practice. Now, the long story (Infected Blood) has finally formed in my mind for the most part and is a concrete project, since I'm starting releasing it tomorrow, as you noticed. So, I am aware that GES - ASS has several shortcomings, and I'm working hard to overcome those in Infected Blood. I will definitely keep in mind your suggestions to improve my new comic.

One point you bring up really hits home - my website is hard to navigate. You finally gave me the final push to reorganize it completely. It's a long and complicated story, so I won't go into details, but the gist of it is that I am on WordPress.com, Business edition ($$$), which comes with plenty of good stuff, but some layout limitations. So, I will split my website in two, keep Infected Blood on my main site (with navigation arrows, one page at the time, the whole rigamarole), and put the rest (reviews, interviews, newsletters, etc.) on a separate site, with links from one site to the other and vice versa. That will break all of your links, so be warmed

But another point you hinted at was really off - Sekhmet is not the sniper  Shanti is.

Once again, thanks much for your review - could I get in line again for Infected Blood? It updates weekly, so I guess you'll get to it in a couple of years. Let me know if that's okay or not - if you prefer to not review my comics again, not a problem

Ah see, mad props and really smart to start with a short story to hone your skills before moving on to the big one. TGES-ASS was a decent first project, btu decent first projects are normally in the 2.5/5 range XD

Yeah, I think I noted in there eventually that maybe Shanti was supposed to the sniper, not Sekhmet, but man that did not come across easily on my first readthrus

I don't know about your particular site, but you should be able to set up just a separate section for the comic vs the blog. I mean, I do it for me site, after all. Let me know when you change the urls and what links I need to fix when you do so

Hey I'd love to see a full review of my comic from the sky1.
There have been really mixed opinions on it, but you might enjoy looking at it since it's pretty unique.

I'd love to hear what you think about my comic Carnikids! It's pretty new, but should have a couple chapters up whenever you get to it. One thing that's a little different about my format is that each chapter is sort of a mini self-contained storyline (although there will be overarching plots throughout the chapters).
