I can't really claim credit for this one liner. I just quoted Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto verbatim (OK, so translated verbatim, anyway) when he felt his men celebrated the attack on Pearl Harbor a little too enthusiastically. I rather dislike how they misquoted him in the movies Pearl Harbor and Tora! Tora! Tora!
There's a great one in an upcoming episode of Tiger on the Storm about Scud missile launchers, but should I spoil it?
Probably my favorite is in Untold Stories from Iraq and Afghanistan, which, due to a number of reasons, won't be posted here. Basically, Army Staff Sergeant Stokes quips, "There's something about people trying to kill you on a daily basis that makes your down time more enjoyable, dontcha think?"
