We all have good art days and bad art days right? So share drawings where you successfully managed to convey just how good looking your characters are, and other times when they had a face only a mother could love lol

this is Chili's best drawing i've made so far

It's actually apparent how hot he's supposed to be XD

this is probably the worst, but tbf, this was only the second episode of the comic. I was no good at drawing male characters when I started, so drawing Chili has forced me to strengthen my weaknesses and helped me improve a lot (because he insists on being in EVERY episode.)

Early character concept for Daecon. I am as ashamed at having drawn this as I am surprised at having kept it:

Another concept, this one using my Wild Nights, Hot and Crazy Days character style:

Daecon's current look:

why are you ashamed of the first one, it's honestly not that bad. his hair makes me think of feathers

oh, I can kind of see the vampire thing lol, I thought it was just cuz he shapeshifts into animals

Claudita's first appearance... obviously can see my awkwardness in drawing her. I don't use char design sheets lol

A more recent one where I think she's most attractive

I realized when looking back at one of my character design sheets that I went from drawing 9 rays on the sun on Texas's face to drawing 7, I don't think anyone noticed though lol

I kinda feel like my art is inconsistent no matter what I do, but I feel.like I'm always the most proud of how my character looks when she has a dumb look on her face...

While the pictures of her that I think I put the most time into are the ones I'm the least happy with:

The way I feel about my own work is wierd, I feel like I have old stuff that's way better than what I make now and I don't remember how I did it... this probably comes from being unable to do art for a few years then coming back :confused:

I can see from the first to the more recent ones that you really have continued to develop your style in a cohesive direction! That's something to be proud of-- I bet you kept the first one because at the time it had some sort of essence if what you wanted to emulate but hadn't fully realized yet! Congrats on the progress!

@Leyelle

The way you do the lines really changed how polished the it looks! I somehow elevates the stylized aspects of your art to feeling very intentional, while it didn't as much before. I love seeing how people's styles develop!

Some times you just have to get back into the flow of things. Getting out of practice is common, don't stress too much
