Ultraman Tiga has a great Ship then :thumbsup: Imagine a Ship riding that ship XD

I think one actually does in that show.... Or at least that ship deploys from an even bigger ship. It's been a while since I watched Tiga.

I honestly do not care if people want to ship my characters. Most of my characters are bisexual as a default so it's not going to really offend me or anything. I also follow some fandoms where people post their ship art and even if I personally wouldn't ship those characters, if it's cute, I will give the artist a like.

I think I am more concerned about fans who bully creators over headcanons. Please don't do that.

Success is not measured in fame or fortune but in crackfics on Wattpad

I find shipping culture really fascinating and I often do wonder what will read as chemistry to an audience. Or what brings people to ship a character with another version of that same character.

So yeah I welcome ships. Shippers can analyze the story while I analyze the shippers.

Ships are more than jsut welcome. Yes, i write stories with certain couples, yes to my mind some of them don't match BUT! Since i can sail away with my own ships, then my readers to have every right to do that as well. Ship away my friends!

I'm fine with my readers shipping characters! ...Though I feel bad for the people who are shipping characters I know for certain won't get together! :sweat_02:

There are definitely some character pairings that come up in the comments section that feel weird to me, like Rekki/Jules, which feels odd because when writing them I think of it as more of a sibling-like dynamic... but it's like... well, they're not actually related or even adopted siblings, so it's not like they're shipping Rekki with her actual sister (which is... no. Please do not ship Rekki with her sister). I draw the line at ships where the characters are siblings, and I'm not keen on ones where one of the characters is under eighteen and the other is 20+ :sweat_01:

That said, some people have already been catching hints of the actual canon ships now and seem excited for them so.... fingers crossed they like the canon ones enough to be happy!?

I have a very cool ship in my story. She's made of driftwood, repairs herself and runs on wind, water, magic and solar power. You can even charge your phone on her.

That aside, I don't mind ships. I have a few partnering aspec characters, including fully aromantic ones in queerplatonic/undefined relationships, and I'm a little worried about shippers being bothered by that and commenting aphobic shit in an attempt to allo-ify them and force a romantic I label or because they think that if it looks like romance to them it might as well be called romance because their standards are the norm and why not force them on everyone. Then again the characters HAVE a relationship, just not an entirely conventional one, their dynamic is THERE to be enjoyed. Just in their own way. So I hope that'll be enough.

Honestly I write a story with only one end game canon ship

But honestly I dont care if you want to ship X with Y. Honestly I encourage it. My cast are all grown ass adults any way. So ship away in any dynamic you want.

I will even tease a few non canon ones. All I care about is if you dont bother the creator or anyone else for it.

Technically there's one I doubt anyone would ship mostly due to it being written so intimate yet platonic (borders on a queer platonic relationship) I would be surprised anyone actually does. I'll laugh thou and find it funny

Ah but what if I ship them queerplatonically?

Tbh I don't even know the difference between romantic and queerplatonic shipping because romance is just bbhaggazwlöwöflsknapwodjfnepaofnr to me. I don't ship monogamously or with labels anyway.

Honestly ship away if you want in that kind of relationship. .:sweat_smile: it would be fun to read and see art about

I get that. Honestly when I do romance I tend to think of a really strong bond first between two people (be it negative or postive) then I can head down that rotue of romance. So immortal undying hatred is my new favorite route XD

Poly and without labels are life honestly. Love to see it :sparkling_heart:

Mix and Match them boo! :purple_heart:

Shoot I can see myself shipping characters that won't actually be together in my own work, and narritively wouldn't make a lot of sense to just squeeze in the main story, but like on the side... it's the wild wild west of winky face emojis hahaha.

Ooh yeah ships are funny but kinda scary in that aspect

sometimes when I´m working on some character interaction scenes like most people I´m like " I hope they don´t ship these two" and at the same time I´m curious and I wanna see people´s random ships xD

@Lady_T_Musings

Sameee I sometimes do it and well it´s kinda sad but then I don´t wanna fill up the story with too much couples :sweat_01: normally theres a main couple and a second one and well...the random ships I once thought of will just live in deep inside my heart

@Freemints30

Ooh that´s a thing I´m also worried about related to the characters´s age since I have a few minors. not kids but teenagers and well I could accept the ships that are age compatible no matter how random and impossible to happen they could be

I am totally fine with ships, even the non canon ones. What bothers me is if readers get to pushy with their ship and go and harass authors if their ship stays non-canon or sunk.

I'm fine with people shipping my characters as long as they don't try to shove it on me. It's never my intention for that to happen though.

As long as they don't try to push for it to be a canon thing (Nagging, harassment, etc.) I couldn't care less what readers ship. I would be curious about it if someone made their own fanfic stuff, would probably find it fun and share it around.

I’m fine with people shipping my characters. Assuming it ever happened. I mean, people outside of Tapas have shipped my characters together. You know your series are doing well when people start shipping your characters. Tee hee.
