I feel like I draw close-up eyes on every page but they never seem to get easier :')

3d Eyes vs concept arts
(eyes is something I still trying to get better at lighting in 3d, glowing eyes especially, and they usually far away in 3d renders so forgive any pixilation/blurriness)

This is a random thread you’ve made Abigail. And I like it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I’ve been waiting for my next update to post on this and now that i’ve updated with this one eye shot, i can finally post on this thread with this ONE panel LMAO

I drew 'Sus' eyes when that meme was going around... ඞ

Tinge is a precious little bean :3

Simple face and dot eyes are always fun too!

Mostly just do covers and random illustrations and concept art, but here's a couple of close ups.

Trying my best to make them all look distinct enough for each character, as well as the most expressive they can be ^^"

What a fun concept! Here are mine from Friar Chicken: (sorry for blur on a few, blew them up)
The broody star, Friar:

his empty-headed friend:

The judgy leader:

The eccentric newcomer:

And the blind soothsayer:

(Okay, that was way too big, LOL!)

On the human side, Alec and Aldi silently judging each other...

Yeah, kinda awkward...

I called this the "Whyeye so blue?"
(Edit: Didn't mean to make this a direct reply to 2DLenzy's post, but alas, oh well sorry for the boomer moment :joy:)

The princess and the prince's eyes (except the ''prince'' is a woman too)

11 months later

Bringing this back from the dead rather than starting a whole new thread on it.

For the retelling of Daecon's story his eyes have been retconned into being gold and silver, rather than the two shades of blue they were before.

this is oddly specific

When I did that fanart of Elsie, Ernest, Roy and Rosie I zoomed in on the pics you started this thread with to get their eye colours right
