This is Madge (short for Marjorie) From my Novel, "Agents of Jerm" She's good-humored, confident, and kind of a badass... Which is good because bad luck follows her wherever she goes. She actually feels a lot more and has more worries and insecurities than she lets on, but Ssshhhh... don't tell anyone.

First character is my mc and the second character is the heroine that he meets in the first chapter.

He also prefers any bottle up feelings to himself. Losing their home and losing a sibling that wasn't even born yet. However, her sisters, Andrea and Miyoko constantly remind her that do it always on her own as she would come back home with more cuts, bruises, and even scorched skin. But it didn't matter to so long as she's protecting her city that she'll one day inherit from her family. She can't stand by and watching others suffer. But they were right. I have a blog with some info of almost all the characters and the story:

And the comic here:

So here is my character Nasen. He is an antagonist, but I would not say villian. He loves animals, and is generally a sweet guy who has been wrapped up in some not so good dealings because he want's to help protect his foster family. His sister and her husband has a sick child who needs very expensive medicine so the three of them work a very dangerous job to acquire money for the medicine. Nasen is one of the oldest characters (design wise) in my comic, and was the initial character who started my story. But, I grew tired of people comparing him to Edward from FMA so I took many different design directions. This is his final design, and I have to say I am happy with the way he came out while getting to keep his blonde hair and face markings (which you cannot see on this image unfortunly as he is facing the wrong way)

Rokuzo is the oldest character in my comic by age (which will be revealed later for plot reasons), but he was one of the ones who were created originally has a side characters where the MC would go to for advice. In the comic's early days, when I was thinking urban fantasy, he was supposed to be an announcer for underground mage battles in a society that rejected magic. (I may reuse this story concept later) He was meant to be a sassy sage character, and although that still holds true, his personality has developed into something much deeper. His outward confidence contrasted his internal overwhelming sense of loneliness, as a sort of defense mechanism. When he sees death, he shuts down emotionally, and started pushing away the people he loves, even though he really needs the company. His design has change from contemporary clothes to mages robes. I actually have many outfits for this vain man, which are all cannon. XD oh well. let see how many I can shove him into.

Trust me, Spongebob's Pineapple and Pineapple from Amazement Comics are NOT comparable. In fact, TAFS are meant to be serious characters.

As for your second question, are you referring to characters from any comic series?

Both are new Runners. The boy's name is Atticus. Atticus lives in the shadow of his father's reputation as a great Runner and deals with a lot of self-doubt and perfectionism because of that. Afraid that he won't live up to the expectation laid on him. He stays quiet a lot because of that but is close with Elliot and Kristine and will open up and joke around them. Atticus is usually collected but sometimes freezes up under pressure. The girl's name is Elliot. Elliot was raised in the poor levels of their tower in Summerloch. It's generally not feasible for a poor person to become a Runner because they don't have access to the training and education that wealthier families do. She's very talented and at the beginning of the story has personal belief in the systems that allowed her to achieve her goals and some resentment toward the people, her family included, that didn't believe she could do it. They are both very talented Runners and in their Trials Came in first and second respectively. Atticus won but Elliot broke the previous sprint record which had been set by Atticus' father. Elliot is active and brazen sometimes rushing in without careful assessment of the situation.
