Throughout media history the most memorable part of every good story is the hero. And the villains are forced to watch them shine from 2nd place. No matter how perfect your villians/antagonists are, they will be nothing more than the hero's shadow. Batman will always be above The Joker, Goku will always fly higher than Majin Buu, Darth Vader will never have the high ground against Yoda. Although this doesn't apply to everyone, I can confidently say that this rule applys to 90% of the human population. Even in these forums, I can see the pedestal that our MCs are placed on.
From fantasy to romance. Show me the beauty that your antagonists have.
I'm not going to promote my story because that is not what this thread is for, but feel to promote yours if you want.
Dr. Frankenstein. A human with more knowledge than the Gods themselves.
Master Morningstar aka Lucifer. A fallen angel with a strong hatred for anybody that isn't him.
Ketsueki Alucard. A vampire that likes to "explore" the bodies of angels with royal status. (No she's not a succubus. And please don't call her one, because she'll probably eat you if you do.)
Master Cerberus. A loyal pet that will follow any order he is given.
