It's still summertime, but as soon as people are back to work/school, they'll be back online looking for stuff to read  Your views should pick up if some of your regular readers are on vacation right now. Have you set up your comic on Topwebcomics? http://topwebcomics.com/9

I've found it made a difference in traffic to my comic. Promoting here on the forums is a good place to get more people reading your comic, or doing art trades with other creators.

Okay so some of this is just my personal preference, so take it with as many grains of salt as you'd like and do what works for you.

1) I'd merge your earliest episodes into some larger chunks. You have a lot of episodes (which is awesome! congrats on having the comic going for so long!) but the early ones seem to all be only 2 or 3 panels each. And this is a bit of a personal preference thing, but I prefer to get a longer initial 'taste' to see if I'll like a comic, and having to be skipping constantly to the next episode at the beginning is a bit off-putting. I skipped ahead and can see that by S5 you have switched to a page format, which is way more visually grabbing to me! So nice job there! However the last two episodes seem to be put in the scroll format - nothing wrong with that, but on desktop at least it looks like you might have had to resize your panels or something, because your normally very lovely character art looks kind of blurry and messy to me? But the larger font size is definitely going to be more readable on mobile if you were going for that. It seems like you're definitely overall trying to think about how to make your episodes best viewable for readers, and I think that if you can find a good balance that will help you with your views.

2) The other thing I wanted to touch on is your series icon. When you're trying to get someone to check out your comic from Fresh, every little bit of information you can convey to them ahead of time is precious in convincing them to give you a look. All they have to go on is your series title and your icon...which right now only really tells them your series title (again). I'd definitely recommend finding a panel that really displays your cute character designs, and try to make an icon that shows them off instead.

Best of luck to you, and I hope you can find some strategies that work for you to get more views! ^_^

I would actually try and focus on getting more engagement - it will help you with the algorithms - which will help you get on lists like trending and popular and therefore get more views.

Not that I'm an expert on the matter because I would give my right hand for 45 views in a week, but I have noticed a huge spike in my comic since I've been using the forums more often.

As far as platforms go, my Instagram is where I get most of my love and affections. dozens of likes per post (I don't think IG tracks views), but I average more likes on IG than I do views on either Tapas or Webtoon.

I have plans for promoting my comic, but I'm introverted and mentally averse to networking.

I'd been considering redoing the earlier chapters into vertical format. Maybe I will do this too and just make them long pages of panels.

I'll also look into making a better icon, thanks for the tips!

Try to find ways to encourage more of your readers to like and comment on your episodes. Could be something as simple as asking a question at the end of each episode. I've been trying to do this more myself - but admittedly haven't been doing as much as I would like

Yes I do think that I will fit in your universe too.
Just ask @TheBlankScroll about copyright first...

To get more views be more active in the community.......

........ which is kind of a painful realization for loners like me who's talk-y-phobia even extends to non-direct communication like forums...... :confounded:

Keep at it. I got very few views per week when I started out. The more you put your stuff out there, the more people see it, and the more people view it.

Dont be discouraged, its a start. With time, you'll grow more and more, just dont give up, and continue getting engaged with the comunity, its all i can say because i have the same issue

22 days later

I am usually in panic mode because of the views too, and even the number of subscribers, likes and comments because I'm trying to earn some money out of my writing.
You need a great deal of patience: readership grows slowly. Like the others said in this forum, I'd be over the moon if I had 45 views a day - 45 is good. Forums are also a good place to seek feedback for your work to see what can be improved, and improving quality automatically attracts more readers.
