My comic takes place on a temperate island in an area where theres sparse urban development in an otherwise backwards feudal world. There is various mythological creatures inhabiting it, magic and strange paranormal things that go on which to some is commonplace, to others is strange. Here there's a demonic potion that seems to have developed a subculture behind it thats taking up the youth of this city by storm either willingly or unwillingly leading to disappearances, kidnappings and runaways. The hero (or to say anti hero) Japhin unfortunately gets caught in this underground cult and his life crumbles around him.

For my two main tabletops, they're both planet-sized. I'll make Clareshea into a comic, dunno about Azuoi.

Clareshea; Almost everything in nature wants to murder you. Don't touch the purple flowers, those hold your souls. And don't worry if a massive wyvern descends from the sky and asks for a corpse; They're the reapers. The deities actually show themselves to their followers, and show their appreciation by not having bad events happen. Everyone has magic, but not like Azuoi; You see, Magic is your Dharma. Your Dharma is divided into four types; Melee, Agility, Magic and Holy. Your Dharma is shown at birth, and you cannot change it. One's magic is different than others, IE; A Squire is capable of using their own magic to increase their allies' strength for the most part, while a Monk is capable of healing others or summoning the forces of nature that they have an affinity towards (Ice, Wind, Poison, Holy) to deal damage to others. It's also quite a deadly place to live with plenty of war, but it's at a time of peace. For the most part.

Azuoi; A much more peaceful world, where Magic runs differently from others. You see, everyone will grow into their classification of Magic divided into Skirmish (Mostly offense), Barrier (Mostly defense), Reflex (Dodgy Glass Cannons), Standby (Support), and Assorted (A mix of all four, but usually are skilled craftspeople too.) Schools and other organizations for learning are much more necessary than Clareshea's system. Races are more capable of creating hybrids, there's quite a larger amount of people compared to Clareshea due to the souls not being connected to flowers, and there's a lot more deities. (Compared to Clareshea's 7, there's about 40 or so more.)

I didn't create the universe that my story takes place in since my story is a fanfic. I asked the author if I could publish it on here and he gave me the green light. Ill still summarize it though since it doesn't take place in the same place.

Near the end of the 21st century, the MeChip (Imagen it as an apple device) was created. MeChip's are inserted into the underside of your arm, just above your wrist. Over the years they have noted that the MeChip took control over the most basic human functions (like blinking and breathing). Because of this little chip, humans started to evolve. These evaluations took the form of human have "super" powers. Now fast forward to the 22nd century, the world has heroes and villains, powered and unpowered people, and a very long and grueling process that involves paperwork to become a hero.

The story takes place in a big area around St. Louis. This area reaches out to Illinois more than Missouri (Since I'm having the story take place around where I live which is 17 miles away from St. Louis).

If you want to know more about this world, I suggest reading Zachary Sergi's Heroes Rise Series that you can find in the app store.

The universe of Outer Spaces is a limitless one. A breathable expanse spattered with stars, globules of nebulous matter, and untouched worlds - a chaotic eternity of light, color and sights unseen. Originally created by the spectrum of Primaries, it's been colonized first by early-universe stabilizers like the nature-protecting Keepers and the Practition of Doctors, and later by massive, industrial space kingdoms like the Viridescent Star Empire. Unfortunately all is not well in the cosmos. The green peoples of the Viridescent Star Empire have a very harsh outlook on Inks, pitch-black citizens whose only difference is their outlook on diversity and the cosmos - and they've made a habit of annihilating the old keepers of the universe that dwell within their borders. Space is boundless and beautiful, but also the hunting ground for Anxieties - titanic, parasitic cosmic horrors from a featureless void called the Silence that adapt to the fears of their victims.

In the wake of this, Wander, an Ink yearning to quit his 9 to 5 job on a Viridescent Orbital Home for the elderly, and his companion Wilder, an Ink serving as a knight-errant on cosmic missions, end up travelling the universe together - and their journey leads them to places neither could ever have expected.

The universe of my comic is a mix of the past, the present and the future. For example, you can find a medieval town next to a futuristic city and in a forest you can find velociraptors, ninjas and ice dancers.
There are also aliens and fantastic monsters like dragons or goblins. People can learn magic and they can discover secret powers they had under convoluted and specific conditions.
My comic is a comedy about a rock being the chosen one to save the world and i wanted to put it in all kind of challenges.

the world of my story is mostly gonna be a giant forest called "The Sea of Wood",
all the monsters are part of the forest or made by the "will" of the forest, from tree guardians who help get the trees their nutrients and defend the forest from people who would bring harm to the "Sea" to beings made from intruders who have been cursed by the trees themselves.

my comic is mostly a character drama with some action and humour spliced in

Mahadvipa is a continent where Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Rakshasa, Naga, Minotaurs and Orcs live together and wield. Until one day, magic just vanishes! Only a very small amount people are left able to wield it... In the panic that follows, wars erupt with every nation fighting over the few magical artefacts left. This last several decades until a solution is found: the creation of a Library to preserve and teach magical knowledge, open to all the races. Now, a hundred years later, the Library has grown to the size of a city and and every race has its embassy, making it a nest of political intrigue, red tape everywhere, and a place where messing with the wrong person could start a diplomatic incident! Couple that with the fact that it's full of students with varying degrees of control over their magic, and you have a situation just waiting to get out of control!

Earth, but if it was secretly controlled by those wavy neon noodly-armed guy things you see in car lots.

Sanguine was spawned by a conversation I had with a co-worker during which I posed two questions:

  1. If you were a vampire, would you turn your husband?
  2. Why do higher beings in fiction always yield to humanity?

(I instigate plenty of odd conversation with her =P .)

I probably couldn't begin to list all of the works of fiction wherein humanity really has no business running the world, so I created a world wherein they don't. I used vampires both because they were the topic of the conversation and because they're still pretty hot these days. It's a pretty big departure from my usual fare, actually, but it's been pretty fun so far!

In Sanguine, vampires--referred to as blackbloods in polite society--have reigned for several centuries. They've rebranded mankind as "morties" and breed them as pets and livestock. Because blackbloods are free from suffering and possessed of a wide array of arcane powers, their society has become one characterized by frivolity and whimsy. As the story kicks off, however, protagonist Xanthippos Granger comes to believe that a new, more vicious breed of vampire might be growing in the shadows. He believes that he can expose these savages and rise above his own ignominious background in the process, but with blackbloods taking so very little seriously, he struggles to make his voice heard.

Quick, Non-Spoilery World Facts:

  • It takes place somewhere in northwestern Europe.
  • Not every continent keeps morties.
  • The first blackblood was Theophratus Vlodimir Bombastus von Ulric, a former African slave.
  • "Blackbloods do not love you." They gain no pleasure from sex and do not procreate.
  • Blackbloods expand their families by siring Nascenti, morties specially bred and raised for siring. Siring a regular morty is one of the few serioues crimes there is.

I reckon that's enough o' that. Hope y'all feel inclined to keep an eye on it ^_^ .

My world is pretty expansive but I'll cut it down to the brass tacks, focusing mostly on Ossien.

Ossien is the homeland of four kingdoms. Two old (Mallanë and Lenorë) and two new (Laurë and Relenë). These kingdoms are united by three things:
1. A singular dynasty that has broken down into cadet branches. This dynasty is made up of descendants of the Saint Emperor Valen, who married conquered dynasties to his children.
2. A Caste/Clan System that dictates your place in society based on ethnicity. This was instituted by Valen upon his conversion of the kingdoms to the New Ecclesia. The ruling caste are all his children or children of his Paladins. The other castes are made of different fantasy ethnicities.
3. A Gnostic/Cathar church that believes the physical world was created by the devil and is inherently sinful. They also believe in reincarnation and reinforce Valen's caste system.

These three unifying factors have begun to break down as the senior branch, the Kingdom of Laurea, descended from the firstborn of the Saint Emperor, had become nearly extinct. Whoever claims the throne of Laurea will gain hegemony over the other kingdoms and the other Ecclesian kingdoms beyond the borders of this map.

I could go into a ton of detail. My world got tons of little details, like the Relene attitude towards sexuality, Laurean misogyny, Mallane populism, Lenore's issues with chronic depression, and a general problem with racism. And of course character that I think are realistic in this setting. One of my episodes has this map and some faction lore in the description.

The universe is vast and contains hundreds of earths. Powerful cosmic entities visit these earths, abduct humans, and make them fight each other. With great power comes great boredom.

My comic takes place in a world where no one grows old, only children exist in this world. Everyone and everything lives on massive floating landscapes. There are large and small creatures. There is a kingdom places in the middle and is surrounded by all of the islands it is where most people live. There is peace even though there are monsters who wish to eat the children, even though they cannot be killed.
When a child (also known in this world as Pheonikai )suffers from an event like being eaten. There body go's into shock and all "blood" that keeps them from aging is placed into small indestructible skeletal orb. Over time this will glow and their body will be reformed as it once was.

So there is a perfect world where no one can die. Just one question remains...How did such a world come to be blessed, and is this history worth seeking?

the comic i make Knights chronicles is about the knights ,a group of powerful anthropomorphic warriors who first were made to be the perfect weapons, and now want to right their wrongs and free the world from the grip of their otherworldly creator who had taken over the Earth years before
