AH. Practical armor. Haha, awesome. The one on the left has a vaguely chinese feel to it and the right feels more... Robin Hood look? I dig them both.

I've been trying to get better at lighting and whatnot since it's not really something I'm great at, but these turned out pretty decent.

Thank you! Fortunately a local artist mentioned that I'm starting to add dimension to my mural art. Which I hadn't considered was a problem but now that it was pointed out I can see its missing in all but maybe 3 or 4 drawings in my art for the last few years.

I mostly write and just draw random bits of art and covers, but I've been practicing paneling just to maybe include some bits of art in later stories. I'm trying out a minimalist style and trying with a couple of scenes from WIP and other stories I've posted elsewhere. It's been fun, but also, respect to everyone who does comics regularly, lol.

@candiedcotton ohh, I love the idea of vaguely Chinese feel x3 I guess I will be redrawing this character now, because this design didn't quite won me over yesterday, but I will rehash it for another character
Lighting is so hard, I totally agree 🥴 it does look good though! Background lighting is a royal pain

@vapidink hey, these look really nice! Doing random 1-2 comic pages of a story is always great, imo. It just gives you this feeling of satisfaction xD

I guess GoA is my spring choice for sketches. I really gotta finish at least some of them though

Damm your lighting always slaps !! The vibrant colors ugh so good ! Is it teal or turquoise? either way it helps those orangey hues pop ! Just pure bliss

Thanks! guess his right side is teal clothing and another is turquoise xD I really love having characters that have contrasting color palettes, they generally look good together and it's an easy way to add more color 🤭

I had zero time for drawing today because I´m playing a show with my rhythm´n´blues band later
and it took me the whole day to write 2 really small scenes in my story but I really like those
scenes now. Julia is too late to on her first day at the new job, she had to borrow a giant
man´s suit jacket and the receptionist welcomes here at the reception with insulting her.
The receptionist hates her from her guts. The curly guy is her best friend who´s secretely
in love with her

Julia approached the reception desk with her heart pounding in her chest.
She could feel Cornelia´s eyes on her, and she knew she was going to give her a hard time.
"Well, well, well, look who decided to grace us with her presence," Cornelia sneered, her voice dripping with
vernom.

I really feel that story right now

Thanks gods these horses are not my main characters, but after I did a genderbend I am pretty sure readers will ship anything

I'm jealous you can draw horses, mine look like deformed noodle dogs. Those are gorgeous.

Also, I'm curious, which of all your characters is your favorite? Of any of your work.

This is so true. I had a bunch of readers simping over my four-armed blue dude and it threw me for a loop.

But who am I to judge, lol.

Shipping straight up animals might make me kinda concerned though. What really creeps me out is the loli stuff. Y'know what kind I'm talking about.
