Keeping doing you. Live one moment to the next, don't overthink things. It is easy to get overwhelmed (at any age), so just focus on one thing at a time. Also, remember that you are never alone. There is always someone you can get help from (and don't be afraid to ask!). You'll do fine

All I can say is being an adult isn't all its cracked up to be but it is a completely different learning experience. Everyone is still a child even if they deny it. Some get a little wiser with their experiences while others stagnate. The best thing you can do is learn about the world and how it works. Never stop asking questions and being curious. It will be hard when things come down to work and eat or don't work and lose your stuff to cover never ending bills. The best place to start is to learn more about yourself and how you tick. I don't believe in astrology stuff but this website has a good amount of sociology information that is spot on. This is your birthday if Im not mistaken from what you have said: July 3

Its not much different from being 16. Adult just means more privileges.
(and a bit more stress, but that's different.)
Basically, as an adult, just do what you normally do.
Just preserve your inner child, and keep your imagination alive and safe from any unwanted danger. Those are the keys to survival in the seemingly gloomy stage known as adulthood.

Honestly, I think most of us are just making stuff up as we go along. No one really knows how to adult properly - some of us are just really good at pretending! XD

Practical tips, though - work hard, don't make promises you don't intend to keep, be nice to people, and pay your bills on time.

Hahaha, when I saw this topic, the first thing that came to mind is "learn how to do your taxes." Seriously though, spending time now and learning the in's and out's of filing taxes is going to make the rest of your years easier.

@jayorten Not entirely sure if this counts, but this is some of the best advice I was ever given (especially for any potential job):

"If you're early, you're on time. If you're on time, you're late. If you're late, you're tardy."

It sounds petty, but it's basically saying "Be reliable." You want to be the type of employee (or person, in general) others can count on to show up and do the job you have been assigned. If you know or even suspect you are going to be late for something, call to let someone know. This proves that you are an aware and considerate person!
