What are your creative goals for next year? :)

It’s almost the end of 2023, which means a whole new year to achieve your goals! What do you want to accomplish in 2024?

I’ll start-
- I hope to reach 700 followers by the end of next year, which would mean about 450 more on webtoon and 550 more on tapas!
- I’d also like to build up a buffer of at least 5 episodes (i have 0 right now T-T)
- I’d also like to have the script done for a few other comics I have planned, and also get my youtube channel up and going!

I love creative goals and I have a lot

I will continue my daily muscle / bone learning habit.
I have a daily thing where I learn about bones and muscles of the human body.
Today I learned about the Ulna and the Erector Spinae.

I will finish the doodlewarriors face drawing course and I will draw one detailed
portrait every month.

I will upload my first online comic to Tapas. The artwork is already finished. I just
need to edit it so it fits to the online format and I have to translate it to english,
it´s german right now.

I will start attempting Watts attelier in may after I finished the doodle warriors course.

The rest of the goals are connetcted to music and story writing and too much to list

I want to finish my 6,75 series! This was the goal for this year, but I had to make some chapters way longer than I thought they would be, and so it's impossible to finish it till the end of the year. I still did my best and I want to complete the series somewhere in late January or in February

I also want to start another two series: one in more of a dairy-style (like my Trust Me, I'm a Chemist, but I'm no longer a chemist so a new one cx ), and one being another fantasy story (still deciding between two I planned out the most).

I'd also want to draw a bit more simple drawings using tradtional media, and a bit more digital full group art illustrations. I feel like last year A LOT of my drawings lost the vibe that I loved in them, and want draw more illustrations like this:

and maybe some fanarts, DTIYS and DTA challenges from time to time?
Well, I just want to create A LOT, hahaha

I've been into digital art for a while, but next year, I'm aiming to dive into traditional painting. There's something about the texture and feel of paint that I really want to experience.

-CREATE!
-Release a third comic series, learn to juggle
-self-promote/focus on other online medias, get social
-learn to draw action scenes/formatting/better panelling or layout
-Mermay? Gonna be weird with chickens XD
-participate in Inkgiving, 2024
-make an "Extras" webpage for Comicfury (ie, brush up HTML/CSS)
-More animations! 2d/3d hybrids!
-release a short story(writing)
-compile a portfolio for real job stuff
-anatomical studies
-build up 3D assets for future comic, CSP asset store? (might become 3DLenzy, hehe)
-try my hand at making tutorials/YT
-forget about this list and do bare minimum! XD

Comic related: Finish MAOR chapter 7 & hopefully a teaser trailer & a main theme.

Preps after chapter 7: Trees & outdoors drawing practices. Make a simple cardboard model for comic's pagoda (exterior). Study & get some good references for pagoda's interior.

Other hobbies: I'm wanting to make some recorder playing videos again after my camera broke... Also want to work on my hobby webgame if I can, to get it outside of prototype stage.

Well, if I’m able to keep updating twice a week, I’ll be posting episode 22 on new year’s day. I don’t know if this is actually gonna happen, but I’ve just been getting a lot done recently, which is why I’ve posted a lot.

Next year's objectives- I wanna to get back to working on my webcomic; I'm not going to post until I've completed at least over 50% of the 27 remaining pages of Chapter 3. I don't want to get in that zone again where I'm humping to get pages done & published at the same time- that was stressful and ultimately led to my burnout/hiatus/injuries...

I also wanna get the script done for my Patreon comic project- so that way I can start working on pages for that towards the end of 2024 or in 2025.

I want to continue doing standalone pieces; a lot of it helps me wind down from the stress/anxiety of comic pages while still giving me a [art] thing to do...it also lets me get comfortable doing stuff like fan art of mainstream characters & hopefully I can open the possibility of doing some commissions.

Finish the 3rd and final book of my series. I’m also contractually obligated to complete a book by 2025 so that’s a goal I guess!

I’d like to get my Patreon back up to at least 500 subscribers after letting it unadvertised for so long so I’ll go back to posting 2-3x a week on Patreon and on socials (which will push the Patreon). Hopefully I can get up to $2k this upcoming year. That means evaluating what works best for my patrons and what drives people to subscribe.

I also just started a daily journal comic and I’d like to keep that up with one entry a day for the rest of the year!

After strugling for months I finally find the direction I wanna go with this story I'm working on, I'm still working on it but by next year if nothing comes in the way I'll have my comic series on tapas and I'm considering maybe on webtoons too I'll have to juglle studying psychology and making comics but I think I can manage it by dividing a certain amount of time each day for study and comic work and other things like leasure if I can manage to divide my time in a functional way I think it will be fine problem is I'm not the organized type so hehe I hope for the best

For me, my goal next year is to finish illustrating at least 4 chapters of my comic since I only illustrated 5 chapters this year. I might be able to push 5 or 6 chapters if I find someone who can help assist me.

I lost my momentum when I got sick back to back this year, so fingers-cross I don't get sick a lot next year too. haha!

I'm just hoping to make something out of this. I have 2 complete volumes of Gluttonous: The Devil's Mistake, and a third volume in the works. I also have Techromaster: Science Incarnate in production as well. I want to start working on some other series, but I have made zero dollars in return since I've been working on this.

I would absolutely be fine with having my series made, and all of it be absolutely free, but I can't afford that. I need to find a way to get some kind of income from this next year, or we could very well end up having to cut the series short for a while until we get our finances in order to continue.

My Goals are to reach at least chapter 15 by the end of 2024. ( I´m currently at the end of Chapter 6) I also try to get some buffer episodes so I have not to pause if I get ill or something in common.
At least I would try to get some more follower.

Well, these are a few things I'd like for next year.

• Have a solid working schedule (Right now since its the end of the year I relaxed quite a lot), specific days to do certain things like Monday is for Sketching.
• Go to the gym or do a new activity
• Go back to work on Scarlet Society and Yandere City (I've been missing drawing for comics)
• Make more fanart or something for myself
• Go back to Streaming on Twitch and YT
• Do some extra stuff to motivate people to support me on Ko-Fi via membership or tipping.

Finish the first draft of the second book and do edits/rewrites.
Finish my other three published WIPs.
Complete another art prompt challenge in October!

I've learned not to make numerical goals. But I do have other goals I can hopefully achieve, such as:

1. I hope I won't have any hiatus in 2024.
2. I hope my work pace will increase.
3. I just hope I receive good reactions and feedback from my readers!
