I'm a filthy bourgeoisie who lives off of stonks :stuck_out_tongue: Then again, you don't need a huge return on investment to sustain your lifestyle when you're homeless by choice

I'm an Electrical Engineer that deals with design work, electric equipment maintenance, and distribution automation systems. A lot of that just goes into making sure people have their power, especially after storms and harsh weathers.

I work at a local winery. I'm not involved in the agriculture/production side of things, I don't make the wine, but I'm the person you encounter when you go to the winery because you want to try the wine. I'm somewhere between a tour guide and a bartender.

Or as I like to tell people: "I pour wine and talk to people, and they pay me to do this."

I work at H.E.B. but of course I'd like for writing to eventually be my day job.

I'm a freelance webcomic artist, mostly drawing for other people, and also part of a vtuber group despite I don't stream much lol

I'm a graphic designer for the public service of Canada who also does occasional editorial cartoons.

Storyboards, design work, and Art Cars for festivals like Burning Man.

Logistics and Dispatching for a food and beverage repair company.

I work as a graphic designer, 2D animator, and 3D modeling/ Animation. I am planning to learn Unity for Game designing, and development yet many recommend me to learn Unreal engine.

I work in the food service industry and am training to be a editor on the side (to help support artists and art projects), and I'm training to be a real estate agent as my main source of income, cause tbh, food service kinda sucks at times.

I'm a software tester. It's chill enough that I can sometimes even work on art when I'm done with my test cases for the day.

I'm a software dev. I write code that tests car parts. It's pretty chill when you're waiting for the script to finish testing

I don't have a job. I'm just a student and because I like to write, I came to Tapas and started to write my novel. The first dollar I ever earned was also by writing a short story which gave me 10 dollars.

All kind of creative work,
music & illustrations.
I had many different jobs in my life, most of them only for a short period to make
some money and go on tour again

A welder? Woohoo - show me some! I service city busses and sometimes some simple inert gas or acytelen welding/warming is necessary. But my welding lines are no beautiful "sewing" XD

I'm a carer. I care for young people with complex physical disabilities. Kind of fell into it when my daughter was born (has pmld).

Lab technician! Specifically, I run PCR for COVID tests (when you're fresh out of school during the pandemic, COVID startups are pretty much the only people interested in hiring you).

What's interesting about my job is that we get most of our business from film crews; usually game shows and reality TV. I've already gotten a few celebrity samples. ^^ Out of sheer coincidence, an Amazon Prime series is gonna be filming right across the street from us next week...and I have this sinking feeling that they're going to use their proximity to our lab to their advantage...

Anyway, the job is annoying sometimes, but I like it. It pays well, the hours are flexible, I have a lot of autonomy...it's really perfect for me to do art on the side AND still actually make a decent living. Until they shut down or until my art alone can support me, I really don't have any desire to move on to something 'better'.

Software engineer here, I work on enterprise analytics software. I'll keep it to myself what kind of analytics though
