knockout city block party demo ended so i'm currently inbetween acnh and unison league

for acnh specifically i'm trying to track down the rest of the beetles in the critterpedia and i'm pretty sure it's the ones who sit on tree stumps so i'm going through figuring out where to put extra trees to chop down later purely for the sake of bug hunting. also fleshing out empty spots on my island since i don't think i'll be getting the rest of the fruit i need (afaik the only means of securing them is trading and i lack friends) so i've stuck down a pond using custom designs from the portal, some picnic spots and a small beekeeping area. i'm doing my best to not get bored with the game but with not a lot of explicitly new stuff it's losing its charm.

unison league is doing a little better since today marked the start of the 2021 miku expo collab so there's a bunch of new spawns for collab gear and monsters plus they've got the expo's theme (highlight by kira) playing throughout the game. i've already finished all the collab quests (just trying to collect event items to exchange for gear) so now i'm grinding through the story quests to earn gems for the collab spawns

i've honestly got a small handful of games i've been wanting to buy but it's just a matter of acquiring funds for it. unironically, aside from ko city, untitled goose game has moved itself to the top of my wishlist especially after my sibling put me on to berleezy's playthoruugh of the game, it just looks fun

Playing New Pokemon Snap, Just caught a Skorupi dying in 4K. life is good.

Some of this...with the lack of quality in the past few updates(can we get MORE storage), I find myself becoming a little disenchanted with the game at times. I've currently been on a tear, trying to complete my critterpedia, as well as get an idea of where I want to start building/designing this eatery(finally decided that I wanted to create a ramen joint; had to endure hell doing the time travel thing to go back and get the ramen bowls). Also trying to spruce up my hedge maze area coz it looks a little "meh"...only thing that sucks is the current custom design stuff I've come across kind of lacks(I want a really nice looking wood floor surface that I can use when I start building the eatery).

The good thing is that I do have that fam member bartering system, coz I really hate when they(the game/system) are holding out on me with stuff(looking at Celeste withholding that moon rover DIY, the moon DIY, and the moon surface DIY :rage:). Finally got the berry chocolate flooring I was trying to get from Saharah(today).

@VibrantFox about the fruit- I might be able to help. Had a person who helped me out, and I'm looking to pay it forward...

Ah a person with cultured 16-bit taste. I give it the distinction of having most summons and playable characters any FF games.

UPDATE: Got the moon DIY from Celeste last night...fam is prolly gonna be mad coz they've been wanting this DIY for months; they made a moon/space area on their island and been screaming for Celeste to give them the moon DIY and the moon surface/flooring DIY(but they have the moon rover DIY which I dont have)

Also they are "sharing" their island with their kiddo(who barely even plays) so a lot of stuff that they could've been getting to themselves, they're having to split rewards & not getting everything; their kiddo has the DIY for the moon surface/flooring...

Ended up using the summer shell DIYs(wallpaper/flooring/rug) on my bathroom instead of the berry chocolate flooring- my bathroom looks cool af; debating about putting a palm tree lamp in there, but I have the shell lamp so...

Think I'm gonna get more hydrangea bushes and change out the shrubs around the island; then after that- and growing a few more cherry & pear trees, I can start working on the eatery idea.

My brother gave my sister a bunch of games for her birthday, so I decided to try one of them out. I think it is too early to have a full opinion on the game but so far I am a bit on the fence. I enjoy Level5's game design (also a fan of Yokai Watch) however I strongly dislike the MC and I hate how slow it is. Hopefully it picks up.

Currently replaying Pokemon Stadium 2. I swear, this game is rigged! Why is it that my attacks always miss, but my opponent uses the same moves and always hit?! I can't take it! :joy:

Still doing the Animal Crossing thing...built the moon for fam(went to their isle to cash in my turnips) on Friday; today I've been just trying to grind & get things done. Finally built the popsicle booth I was planning to use the snowflake-pop DIY for; also the customize feature makes them different flavors so that is cool. I removed a few bushes in front of my resident services area to expand where I have the cotton candy/gumball/popcorn machine- it seemed the only logical place to put the popsicle booth. I ordered a table to set the shaved ice maker on, but I'm not sure it'll work. I had an ice cream cone lamp that I placed beside the booth, but I ordered the rainbow cone because I think it will work better...if the table doesnt look right, then I'll just DIY a table and go with that.

Here's what I got so far:

UPDATE: Got the stand/booth looking the way I want; also grew a 3rd pear & cherry tree- relocated them to the main part of my island and I'm now growing pear & cherry trees #4...I'm having to get rid of a few hardwood & apple trees, but I'm good with that(I have WAY too many trees, but makes good for summer right now with all the bugs). In the next week I'll have to get rid of a few more and relocate my 2nd pond to make space for my ramen joint; I may have to shift my picnic area a little further south...

I'll keep that stall/booth space year round and turn it into a coffee stand in the fall & winter.

Growing a 2nd set of orange pansies; trying to figure the combination to grow green mums...and the blue rose is still eluding me and fam.

Finally started laying down the work on the ramen joint on my island; looks pretty nice so far...

Also moved my 2nd pond to the right side of my island; shuffled my picnic areas down a bit to make room for the new additions...

Just waiting on MORE items for the ramen joint that I ordered-now that I figured out customizing the simple panels for walls to use in this project, I'll be adding few each day until I get the desired effect that I want. I wish I could've customized and added table cloths or placemats for the tables; also wish I could use rugs on the custom flooring...will be using [customized] zen pillows for the seating. I experimented with the zen pillows customizing my kotatsu cloth and pillow seating in my kitchen.

I just got the game Critters for Sale
I've been playing a chapter each day before I go to work
It's a really fascinating game, idk how to explain it other than it feels like an adult swim show.
and the soundtrack is just :weary::ok_hand:

I got really into Wildermyth is a tactical RPG rogue-like with a heavy emphasis on a procedural narrative created by your choices and the personal traits of your characters. Is pretty cool, plus it has the perfect magic system for a Tactical RPG, one based on positioning and resources.
