When I was younger I loved the fight because it was a yin and yang thing. But now I can see so many parallels between the characters I can say that it's literally the same character archetype fighting each other for superiority.

I feel like Naruto usually is serious in a very sappy way but there is randomly one episode in Shippuden that is beautifully directed. IMO, this is the best scene from the best episode of the show.

this is so tough coz my mind keeps bouncing between scenes from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Nichijou, Mekakucity Actors, Lucky Star and Sonic X

like if we're talking melancholy the Narato vs Ryoko fight is one that always stick with me but so is Endless Eight or the last few scenes from The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya

then with Nichijou it's everything from the deer fighting with the principal to gags with the girls and then all the side characters

MCA holds steady in my brain coz there's bits with everyone's eye abilities coming into play, some of the emotionally tense or heartfelt scenes or the big final fight with the snake of clearing eyes and all events that follow

and while Sonic X is mostly a thing of nostalgia (and a part of my long time sonic fixation) there's still a ton of memorable moments that I'll always hold dear

there's other clips from anime i've never watched that are still pretty memorable but all of the above are the ones i love the most

Oh man...that's one of the best interactions in One Piece. The second Enel realizes his lightning didn't work. I both laughed so hard, and was so pumped for Luffy to bash his face in haha

One of my favourite scenes is from Gurren Lagann where the Dai Gurren just cleaves the beastmen airship in half with it's massive "sword". As well as the reinforcements swooping in to help the Gurren Brigade against said enemies. Though maybe that's also because Fight the Power (or however it is called) is playing during the scene.

Hmm. I have to give it to the first "Real Anime" I watched as a teen. Trigun.
When Vash the Stampede shoots this dude who has a giant mechanical boomerang, I remember the visual timing being absolutely perfect.

The Skypia arc is one of my favorite arcs in the whole series. It had the perfect mix between adventure, mystery, comedy, and action for me. I get that it had flaws with the pacing, but it wasn't a reason to hate it as some fans did.

Gosh, there are so many. but I went and slept on it and was like thinking of a scene that gave you shivers, and I thought about Samurai 7. This fight between these two powerhouse swordsmen Kambei and how he uses everything to his advantage with power and his assuredness vs Kyuzo in his deadly accuracy and swift strikes stirred me all up. The contrast of their styles, and the interesting way the animators pans around them fighting. This scene got me thinking more about the effects of cinematography and how framing a character can suggest things not said.

I must have watched this scene at least 50 times and I still get wrapped up in the hurricane of these two when they clash in the same vicinity.

Also, they cut out the other part of this scene which adds to why I even got the double down to rewatch and it's when Kyuzo leaves the camera pans back to Kambei and he is watching him go with a hungry look on his face and he says. "I want him." Sure-sure he collecting samurai sure-sure, but the more I watch that fight the more I could see all the things that aren't being said in their interactions, and that's just so dang cool.

People hate that arc? What's wrong with them?! It has great character development all the the way throughout.

I know, right?! As far as I can remember, besides the pacing issues, people said it didn't advance the plot much. But the ones who said that binged the series. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

But since Wano, everyone started to love it. But I like that the fanbase begins to defend the arc more now.

Hmm. I watched it over ten years ago now lol had to get it off of a fansub site to even access it here in the states. People these days don't appreciate the work it took to be a weeb back in the day haha
