Crocroach is my character name. Its mainly the combination of my 2 most favorite creatures cockroach and crocodile. I randomly encountered this name combiner and just put both values and loved the answers.

The two brother MCs Evan and Owen means young warrior and youth. Their Surname, Moriarty means 'navigator' and 'sea worthy', they come from a fictional New England town near the sea.

Story: Evan and Owen hope to reunite with their parents during an outbreak, but the young brothers soon realize they are the source of the outbreak. Anyone who makes contact with them instantly mutate into horrid monsters! On the plus side, the brothers' strange condition grant them unusual abilities. Can they survive the deadly infected hordes? Can they rescue survivors without infecting them too? Find out!

@JaneAnning never thought anyone would be a roach fan, not me for sure XD Crocroach does sound cool tho. Beluga whales and red pandas are my fave. One of the characters much later in my comic was inspired by roaches and other creepy crawlers. :bug:

I just wanna say, Naota and Nikado's names actually DO mean something. He was named by my Japanese friend/co-writer.....

I just forgot what they mean.....

I will say Naota was named John Johnson since I was foreshadowing where the stick figure world is located... in St. Peter's journal. John is another one of Jesus's apostles and is considered to be the "favorite" (although Jesus established St. Peter as the first pope).

Anyway, check out the story for more wacky goodness:

Description: Naota Nakaoka was just your typical harem hearthrob until his life was cut short. Now he's been reincarnated .... as a stick figure. How will he be able to rebuild his harem in a world where where anime tropes (and faces) don't exist??? Find out in That Stick Figure Isekai!!! Episodes every Friday!

Doyley was named because he used to be attached to a table doily as a baby.
He changed the spelling of it himself to hide his embarrassing childhood.

Viscount Mousehole's name is Nicholas Gaylord Cornwallis-Perkins

I chose Nicholas since it's a name where the name Colin came from; hence I named him after a Doctor Who actor. It means victory and it came from Nike who is the goddess of victory in Greek Mythology.
Gaylord sounds silly nowadays but it was known as a jolly fellow. It was common for people at that time to name a child Gaylord.
Cornwallis means he's from Cornwall; and Perkins means "son of Pierre" (a friend of mine chose Perkins as Nicholas' surname)

There's nothing special about the name Sauria. I asked my brother to give me a name for the main character and he reasoned that since she has a dinosaur tail, 'Sauria' made sense. I have yet to explain the in-universe reason tho.

Hybrid: Humanity

Genre: Fantasy / Action

Description: A story about a half-demon teenage girl lost in a world where everyone is out to get her.

Back in the 1800s, demons invaded Earth and took a sum of their land. Of course, it starts a new era with pre-established pools of magic on both sides at war. Along with that many discoveries are made from the burning bridge between the realms.

My main characters name is Ellie, which is actually just like a nick name, but she uses it anyway, her full name is Leonore Thorne. Leonore means something like sun ray. I picked Ellie first, but figured it had to be a nickname cause her father would probably give her some more severe sounding name, so I picked a name that might have Ellie as a nickname

There are many protagonists in my story. So I'll pick one haha. One of the main characters is called Cadence. It's originally a musical jargon that is used to describe the sequence of notes or chords that comprise the ending of a musical phrase. Cadence is a singer himself and is considered the star of tomorrow in the Nightingale Tree, because he's very talented and the son of the current Primo uomo - Stavius IX. In spite of his background and talent, he has decided to walk on the path of becoming an envoy, and end his singing career before it starts. This is one of the meaning this name carries. There are several fold of other meanings, but that'll be spoilers so I think it's best to leave it for readers to guess.

Well, if you're interested, here's the link to Dawnbreaker:

Hi, everyone! For me, my main character's name of Harriett came to me because for some reason, my exhausted brain one day thought something like, "Harriett the Spy was pretty cool back in the day." Then, my brain thought that Harriett would make a good name for my future kid. THEN, I decided that if I couldn't name a kid Harriett, the next best thing was to name my novel's main protagonist Harriett. And thennnnnn... I wrote too much .

A revenge story of an Assassin who died because of betrayal.(Not Horror)

Eren, A Mastermind in planning the Death of the World's most wanted criminals as well as the most dangerous man alive on the planet. People say A single threat from him can change the look of war. That person is on his deathbed, breathing for the last time. All the countries' leaders are smirking at him. "agh... who..o are all of you...?
He asks the question to the people who killed him." THE VVV association ".
He died the next second. what happen's next, follow the chapters to find out.

LOOKS LIKE MY CHARACTER EREN, HIS MOTHER GAVE THE NAME BECAUSE HE WAS OF VIOLENT CHARACTER ACCORDING TO HIS FACE THE name means SAINT

Ooooh Ok, fun little character quirk. Every named character who works for the tazdahir has a name that relates to stars.

Alya means sky or heavens, Qamar means moon

Najm means star or luminary. Side characters like Lail, Mashal, Thazeen and Jericho mean Night, Light, Radiance and moon respectively.

There are a few exceptions, like Leopold whose name means "brave people" ironically but his name comes from Leopold III of Belgium who is known for being awful, specifically being awful to people who lived in the Congo.

There's also Rahat, whose name means respite. Which makes sence for their character but was also a mistake. Their original name was Falak, which means cosmos, but also sounds like phallic so I had to change it.

The first character I created for my manga Saiwalo was Anna Versus.
I chose the name Anna because it's a simple and common name here in Italy instead of mine (Aisha is more a muslim name and I hate when they sing me the french song).
Versus it's because I was against everything when I created her, a sort of "look how much she's edgy".

I just released my new novel, a fantasy crime story where an elf knight has to solve a murder and unravel a conspiracy to save the magical city of Santa Fae! Her name is Sherr'Yand/Rull, but everyone (including herself) calls her Sherry, and that became a fun system where I made all the elf names (who are the majority of characters) a specific style, where their individual name comes first "Sherr" then their family name "Yand" and then the name of their House, for those that are lucky enough to belong to one, "Rull", but because they're so long all together, and elves have become more modern, they abbreviate or jsut use the first part of the name unless they're being formal ^^
