Would you turn your comic into a TV show?

If a company approached you and told you it wants to turn your comic series into a TV show, would you accept?
If so, what kind of show would it be? An animated cartoon, live action, CGI etc...

if given a chance why not? For my story I'd stick with live action because its more on romantic comedy

Yep, I would! As long as it's not live action, I wouldn't mind having a TV show made for it. It would be a Fantasy Romance, like the comic already is :3.

Nah. It's not done yet. Emotionally speaking, there's no way I could give it to someone else before I've even finished creating it myself.

If they approached me after it was finished.... hrm. I'd still be concerned. RW is a weird, personal story and would be hard to translate in a non-wacky way. If I had moved on from it emotionally and the company who approached me seemed really enthusiastic about the story for the same reasons I am, I might consider it, but I would really need convincing!

Magical effects mean it would pretty much need to be animated.

Hell yes! As long as I had plenty of creative control over it that is. For those reasons, my comic Life of an Aspie, if it were ever picked up for either an animated show or live action adaptation, it would probably have to be on Netflix to ensure the highest quality possible. Plus the whole "watch an entire season all at once" shtick that's made Netflix so popular as a streaming service.

A Light and Dark television series?! (It'd be way too long to condense in to a single or series of movies) Totally!
I'd just have to finish the comic itself before I accept their offer and it'd have to be with some conditions.
First it'd have to be animated, no way it could work as a live action. Most importantly I'd want complete creative control over the series. Don't want the suits meddling with the creative process right???

heck yeah!! It's gotta be CGI like transformers prime though since that's really the only thing i can see with the current style. I'd also have to be huge on board with writing and character animation/voices/etc because i know how a lot of things end up when theres little to no communication :/

Oh heck ya I would! I think my comic would actually do better animated, thats my vision for it anyways. Getting a Netflix exclusive would be cool, they are usually pretty good. Maybe 3-4 seasons...

Hells yes! But considering the eventual content matter, no network I know of would ever do that haha!

I would love for it to be animated in an Avatar the Last Airbender type style as a show!

I'd probably pitch a different story given the chance. One specifically more tailored to tv. I'd probably even write up the script to it. So far none of my current comics I would feel work for tv. Although there are ones i'm writing up do feel like they'd work in that setting. I have done some concept art for a kid tv show for my portfolio a few months back.

As it is now, no.
However, if they had more content, I would only allow like one season. (And I don't care how much the fans cry). I would also be open for some rewrites. I think it would do better animated (probably 2d Flash/AfterEffects).

All my comics that take place in the universe with a screwed up WWII would probably do well in CGI or high budget live action (somewhere between Walking Dead and Game of Thrones probably) and I'm actually working on animating another story of mine that started out as a comic.

yES I'd definitely would want it to become a tv show lol (for both Psychteria and Chronicles of Fenaur)
(and technically I think it'd suit better animated than a comic tbh)
I'd want them to be anime, probably by the guys that did avatar/legend of korra as a western choice since it'd be literally no chance in hell trying for a company in japan lol.
