Why I Recommend it: Oh man, so this story is something dear to my heart and I love my characters haha. Kleo lost his mom at a young age and dealing with her death has just, resulted in a lot of things for him personally and mentally. He like his structure and he likes how predictable his life has come. All of that is shaken up when he learns he has magic powers that his mom hid to from him, for reasons he just doesn't know. He's afraid to tell his best friend (crush) about them because a part of him is so anxious/worried of the worst happening. And this is just the beginning haha. As his powers grow, more magical creatures will be drawn to his town and not all of them are good. He'll have to deal with that and try and figure out the true history behind why his mother moved there and hid his powers to begin with.

Why I Recommend it: Ok, where do I start. I've just come to really like this work, it's ongoing, and one of the main characters is trans and is dealing with coming to terms to this and figuring out their identity. The other main character has some definite, relatable troubles of his own and has to figure out his own sexuality in a way. I really like it and recommend it!
