Ooooh, that one is also on my to-read list!
Sounds like I should look forward to getting to it

I am SO BEHIND in literally everything I follow - not just novels! And Penniwrites just release Devilish Cupcakes so I've added another to my list lmao. The good thing is that I should have a loooong stretch of free time soon and I'll just be binge reading literally everything

So my list -
Devilish Cupcakes - love between a human and demon plus a bakery. I mean come on, how can someone NOT want to read this??

Stains - It's SO GOOD! It's also a heavy read so this one I do take breaks on before going back in

Do you believe in magic - Such a great BL! Damien is just absolute best

Healed - The sequel to Selected. I adore Caitlin and I love getting to see the characters from Selected again.

It's really fun to read, I hope you will enjoy it too! I've been just so busy with my own novel I didn't have time to sit down and just nose in other people's books omg XD

I'll keep an eye on this thread and see if I can add some fresh titles

My reading list is way too long. :joy:

I rotate between four novels atm in the hopes of one day binging them:

I second The Stains Beneath Our Skin by @sxxaint

@lunagraves714 This one is a great drama that makes you do a double take (or two) and the MC is a struggle bug like the rest of us.

@foxnflames I can't read this fast enough. The characters are so adorable and it's just so well written. It'll be love at first read~

@KillianRain (who also just started a new comic which is just STUNNING) One of my first favorites 100% The characters are captivating with interesting dynamics and the world building is perfection.

As for the comics that I'm barely keeping up with (lol):

@thel3tterm I love the art and the concept. The characters are a lot of fun of course, too.

@drcharlotterodricks It's like a small sugar high every time I read it.

And, a random favorite~

@redbeardshanks This one isn't on the forums, but I know the creator and this is a great binge series while we wait for season two.

Okay, I'm done now, I promise XD (You see now why I'm behind on reading)
Edit: I added my reasons why below each one. XD

Um. I have a lot, haha.

I love: Alchemist Burn Outs

The story is genuinely funny (I LOL a lot) the characters are all really distinct and have different personalities and wit, I love the writing style of the story, and the magic stuff in it and world building is really great.

I also love: The Turbulent March

It's action-packed and filled with a lot of clever action set-pieces, the character development and interactions are fantastic, and there's a lot of cool world-building. I also love how we have a female orc as a main character! It's so cool! I like how each of the characters fight differently and how there are consequences for the character's actions.

Ruby Sea is also fantastic! It's another story where there is good comedy and all the characters are distinct and fun. The story is a really easy and fast-paced read, and I really love how everything is easy-to-understand! It's a really fun story!

I know it was already mentioned, but Devil's Triangle is great. Honestly, I feel like me and Ivan Skilling have sort of a similar writing style in some ways...

There's also the wonderful Individuality! I can tell the author loves the story and is really passionate about it! Again, I love the distinct characters, the descriptions, and the interactions.

Last but not least, I would like to recommend Curse of the Immortals. The concept is super neat, I love all the characters so far, and the writing style is clean and crisp.

There's a lot more, but I'll leave it at those for now. <3

Thank you @alexlcuri07! And speaking of, I absolutely adore their novel’s characters! The story is also packed full of action and excitement, right from the very start! If you’re looking for something cool and extraordinary, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a go:

I’d also like to recommend @Possum’s Demetori as one of my favorite fantasy novels here! The cover is absolutely beautiful, and the descriptions in the novel are so rich and vivid!

A thread about stories I’m behind on?? I’ve found my home :joy: :see_no_evil:

I’m so behind on “The End of All Things” by @BlunderingAlbatross - it’s such a good story! There’s adventure, fantasy, sailors, old gods, amazing world building. It’s so easy to get lost in this world

I think I’m almost halfway through “The Fourth Verse” by @arwalkerart (which is completed so you can binge!) - it’s one of those stories that you just want to deep dive into because there’s so much going on!! I love all the details that are trailed along that suddenly make sense 15 chapters later!

I am bad at coaxing people with sweet words, that explains my own downfall.

Witches and magic rooted in Bulgarian folklore:

Vampire romance but historical fantasy and better than Twilight:

Ooooh, sounds like good stuff :eyes:
Might have to check some out xD

@surenlicious Same!! I really want to keep up with other peoples things, but I also really want to keep up with my own xD This thread is already looking great tho (I wrote as I forgot I was the one that made it, lol)

@kmlangleyauthor very happy I'm not the only one xD Being behind on things is one thing I'm good at xD

@milejdyvan's Individuality:

I have yet to check it out yet, but I subscribed since I intend to read it ^^

And @Willowtree's The Love of a Werewolf

I have been reading it bit by bit, but haven't gotten very far, however I am enjoying it so far ^^

I tend to struggle with sitting down and reading novels, but I really love reading and I intend to read these two in their entireties. I have other novels on my list, but I want to start with these two

A thread for procrastinating readers? Hello, my people

Some of my absolute favourites have been mentioned already so I'll pick some that haven't and am shamefully behind on.

1) Occidendum by @Fuzed is a fantastic novel with great worldbuilding and nicely-written action scenes that draw you into the adventure!

2) The Turbulent March by @Berserker is a fantasy with a twist, with the protagonist being in Orc who has a talent for magic! Also noteworthy (amongst many other things!) is that this novel also updates with great illustrations, something I haven't yet seen in others on this site.

3) The Museum by @cherrystark is another one I'm like a million updates behind and another one that draws you nicely into the world. If you like modern fantasy then this is something worth reading.

@kmlangleyauthor Thank you so much!

Omg thank you so much @Lazuli and @ratscout for mentioning Devil's Triangle! This really made my day. :heart_03:

Haha that's a good call, Lazuli! I think reading it when it's close to finished may make it easier to pick up on all the subtle hints! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

And yeah @ratscout, I feel that way about our writing styles too! Maybe that's why I like your stories as well. :joy:

So like, WHEN will it be done? :joy:
Should I put a big fat ominous X in my calender or something xD

And hey, while you're here, give us your reading list :yum:

Lolol still some time away! Maybe mid next year haha?? :joy:
It's like Day X!

Haha yeah I was collating some!

Here are some that I've been enjoying recently:

M.L. Eaden (couldn't find the right tag)'s poly romance with great magic tech!

@fortunusgames 's drama novel that touches on parenting and chasing one's dreams

@Dysis 's fun magic thriller/mystery

and @ratscout 's fantasy story with wonderful world-building!

Get writing so I can give your story some love!! xD
Just kidding, take the time you need xD

Day X indeed!

Ooooh, haven't seen a lot of these before. And I really need to get around to reading Fortunusgames stuff. Sam keeps popping up everywhere on my instagram and twitter xD

Wait.... I just realized.... I FORGOT TO SUBSCRIBE OMG I'M-

I mean, my reading list is :sparkles:a story of things im way too far behind on :sparkles: but here's some things:

@foxnflames' Rise in the East is like the only one im up to date on. It follows the MC, Aderran, as he learns about the world around him and himself with no memories of his past, and its super lovely to read.

I'm SO FAR BEHIND on @BlunderingAlbatross's The End of All Things, and I shouldn't be 'cause it's honestly so good. Amazing worldbuilding and I can tell from where I left off the adventure is gonna kick off into something really exciting.

everything by @Abel is always on my reading list, but Red Hunger is shaping up goooooood. The erotic horror you've all always needed even if you don't think you do.

Do you believe in magic? by @kmlangleyauthor is also high on my catch up list, and it's so adorable I need to read it for the precious fluff. Also I know she's got some exciting things planned from my collab interrogation :eyes:

Finally, @douglasillusions has some incredibly underrated stuff!!! I already need to binge read Thief in the Night, which is almost/already finished, but her newer work The Saint George Chronicles is a MxM romance following a dragon and a knight of Saint George in their lives as public safety officers in a modern world full of fantasy creatures. Seriously, you are all sleeping on her writing!!! It flows beautifully and it's maturely written, go check it out!!

Being behind on things was the meaning of this thread, so that's great... Or... something xD

Haha I hope to get more writing done during my holiday! :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh yes FortunusGames has great comics AND novels!

Good luuuuuuuck

And indeed! FortunusGames has an amazing work ethic too. Just keeps popping up so much stuff O:
