My favourite short is probably La Luna, or Geri's Game.

*) These come with footnotes, because who doesn't like footnotes? XD I consider the first ten minutes of Up to be some of the best visual storytelling Pixar has ever done; with an absolute minimum of dialogue, they tell us the story of an entire LIFE two people shared. That's amazing.

And re: WALL-E - I adore it for much the same reason as stated above, and I do feel it loses a bit of its charm once people are introduced (I'm here for the cute robots, okay?), but it's still a very good movie.

I haven't seen Inside Out yet so no comment on that film. Up is #5 just because of the opening sequence with Carl and Ellie, the rest of the film is kinda bland though.

And I know what you're all gonna say, why is Bug's Life my #1 film? I dunno. It might just be nostalgia speaking, but I enjoy watching that film. I love going back to watch it every once in a while, and it's always been one of my favorite Pixar films.

Also, my favorite short is a tie between Geri's Game (Bug's Life) and For the Birds (Monster's Inc).

*My favorite part about Monsters University is its timing. Monsters Inc was one of my childhood movies, and when MU came out, I was also in my first year of college. It hit so hard in the nostalgia, and it was like seeing one of my childhood 'heroes' go through something that I was going through at that time too.
