Why are you panicking about this?

Keeping this bookmarked! <3

How did I end up here?

It makes sense that it's taught early in art classes!! Some folk (like me!) have never had an art class though, so it's super useful when people share these resources! I think my New Year's resolution will be to take part in these practices far more often!

Oh man - I just took a look at your Librarian Arachnid Slayer comic and that first page is WOW! The dragon looks so good!! Gonna subscribe and read this ASAP! (To anyone else reading this, take a look below!)

Thank you so very much Kittosaurus! It's reassuring to know that people like the style - I'm still learning a lot!

Thank you so much Niah!! I'm so glad you like it, and I hope your friends will too!

@kirschwassen @vothnthorvaldson Thank you so much for your feedback, guys! I too was worried about the visitors expressions... They are supposed to just be ENTIRELY unimpressed, like they just wandered in with no interest at all. But that kind of expression isn't very interesting to the reader -…

Hello and welcome to the Bigfoot Museum (& Research Facility!) [image] This is my first attempt at writing a full length narrative comic! It has been posting for a couple of months now, and I'd like to introduce it to you all! It is the story of a man who runs a Bigfoot Museum, which has admit…

Dang, I wish I was coming around to try some of your baking!! Sounds delicious! We're probably going to bake some Christmas cookies (in the shape of a snowman, maybe!), and a pumpkin pie! Both are pretty simple, so maybe I should try to make something a little more ambitious :stuck_out_tongue:

My biggest motivators are self-improvement, and the desire to just tell a story! I daydream a lot, and will often just create stories that I really like while sitting at my desk at work, or doing the grocery shop :stuck_out_tongue: I figure that trying to turn these stories into comics is a good way to try and imp…

Hello and welcome!! So, when you go to actually upload a page Tapas will give you (hopefully) all the details you need right there! This is copied from that page: "For image quality, that is. Each image can be up to 940 x 4000px, with a maximum file size of 2MB." I hope that helps! Best of l…

@spudfuzz Your post is super informative!!!! Thank you for posting this!

Hello and welcome!! The most important thing is to always have fun! Create what brings you joy, focus on what excites you, and embrace every opportunity to learn! You'll do great <3

[image] A little message to go with my comic update on Dec 24th! It felt fun to do something a bit silly and out of context with these characters

I am bookmarking those websites! This will be a good challenge for me and will hopefully help me improve a lot

You've just earned yourself a subscriber, @TeoChhim !!! I thoroughly enjoyed what I just read. The simplicity of the style makes for very easy reading - it's not cluttered at all, and the dialogue we are given hints at the type of setting and society that the characters are placed in. That means …

lowering the res is definitely something I should consider!! I'll give it a try next time and see what a difference it makes  Thanks!

Dang, I was praying for a miracle cure here! I've been struggling along with Clip Studio on my creaky old Asus laptop for far too long now. It's okay when working on simple pieces with few layers, but whenever I want to attempt anything more ambitious (or, basically, any comic page) it chugs alon…

I'm sure your presence really helped her!! This is also my first Christmas away from home (thankfully under comparatively less stressful conditions!) but it does have me feeling very homesick. Being in an entirely different country from all my family and friends is very strange and can feel isola…

Congratulations on one year!!! The comic looks great to me. You've earned yourself a sub heart

This is instantly appealing to me!! Got yourself a sub, friend smile

Thank you very much!!! There is a lot more variety in stories to come. A lot more focus on conversational interactions, as well as the highs and lows of life. This is encouraging to hear from you, thanks smile I'm excited to see that your comic is a diary comic too!! Looking forward to keeping up with…

[image] Hello! My name is Jack, and I'm relatively new to these forums. I've been floating around for the past few days and have been really impressed with the positive and supportive community I have observed. With that in mind, I would like to introduce to you my webcomic diary Birdwrong! Ori…

Oh dang! This was an instant subscribe for me! I'm very much looking forward to seeing more. Really love your use of colour (that's the main appeal to me!), and also the fact you're storytelling without dialogue! Is that going to be an ongoing feature of the comic? Or just a coincidental similari…

I find a lot of inspiration in unexpected life events! I think since my first big project that spanned 3 - 4 years was a diary comic, this has made it so that it's instinctual now for me to draw inspiration from my own life. When I finished writing the original run of Birdwrong, I found that I s…

This is just a quick comment to say that shadow person design is PRETTY TERRIFYING. You've got me intrigued!!!! blush

The only reason I can even consider a daily (or weekday) schedule is because my art style is SO DANG SIMPLISTIC for this comic!! Haha smile For work that is more detailed, such as your own, I imagine that even a weekly schedule is a challenging one. Regardless - I wish you good luck!! Feel free to mess…

Thanks for checking out mine too!! Very kind of you smile Do you have a release schedule in mind for Deserted Flowers?? I'm currently trying to create as much of a backlog of comics as possible for scheduled daily updates (or maybe just weekday updates, we'll see how it goes) I'm not really quite s…

Greetings Madi! Nice to meet you. I too am a new user to Tapastic and posting a webcomic of my own smile I enjoyed what you have posted so far of your comic Deserted Flowers, and have subscribed! (I figure that alone is probably more meaningful than throwing too many compliments around) The story is of…
