64 subs in 8 months isn't bad for a webnovel at all! It's a very crowded field, it's really hard for readers to sift through the large quantity of online novels, especially for those of us with highly limited time.
I don't do sub4sub since i'm aiming for genuine subs/readers and i feel like cross posting might spread out my subs if you get what i mean
It's a style difference but I'd go with your original because people tend to over use adverbs anyway so cut them when can.
