I love semi-realistic art, I've tried to draw it, but I admit I have a lot to improve... [image]
Not "realistic" per se, just uses a better rendering. [image] Though if you wanna see the "real" realistic version, it is created in Artbreeder [image]
I'm working on a cover right now that's a bit more realistic than usual. I'm not even done with the story though, lol. [image]
That looks great! I haven't drawn any, because I can't draw realistic at all, but my dear talented friends drawn those for me my main character, Kestrel: [image] (by barn-swallow on dA / barnswallow.art on ig ) [image] (by miriel3 on dA / _laniidae on ig) [image] (by myks0 on dA / mykso_matosis …
It's an awesome crossover art! [:heart_01:] A few years ago I wanted to start a series of Adventure Time x Undertale crossover artwork, but didn't went past one with The Lich and Undyne, which is still my husband's favorite print, since I did it by his request
My most popular is this San from las…
I haven't posted the story on Tapas yet, as I'm still working through the rough first draft, but I wanted to share the amazing cover I got done. [image]
Rating system suuuuuucks and it's absolutely broken. Still hope they'll get rid of it. Anyway, sent you 10 stars, no one deserves to get bombed
I charge 60 each page. Each page should take me 3 days. These are more simplified design sheets for my own comic. Yours would have more details. [image] Some other commissions I've done: [image] [image] [image]
I would love to take the opportunity, but I’m a full time High School student, who is taking College classes, as well as babysitting. Since there seems to be a mandate of 1 episode per week that has 40-60 panels, I don’t think I could whip something up that quickly and good quality!
Well, I was approached to pitch a series to be a Featured one. Personally speaking, I wasn't what they were looking for but they told me "If your series becomes popular, we'll come back to you! We encourage you to publish it on Canvas!". However I believe they didn't actually care about my pitch sin…
So, if you are trying to get into a college, you are going to have to submit examples of work in a realistic style. That does not mean you have to give up your anime art, it's just something you have to use to get into an art program. It's also OK to have multiple art styles.
The moment I saw the topic's title I knew it was about a teacher telling someone not to draw manga/anime style. [:cry_swag:] Sad to see nothing has changed. Your teacher wants the best for you, but may not understand that the style you're working with has the ability to bring you success - but it …
This is right, you should learn how to draw in different styles, different techniques and more, after all it's all knowledge that you'll find a way how to incorporate into your own work. Or even more, allow you to have more than a single flavor. If she encourages you then I don't believe as others…
I'll be reviewing all the submissions so far and making some decisions. Thank you everyone who emailed and posted, such wonderful artwork! SO MUCH TALENT!
I'm proud of my environments! I've worked hard to bring my sci-fi visions to life. 🛸

@Caro what was your Webtoon???
I did it before and I would not do it again!
I don't do digital work, so I can't really 'hide my lineart layer', but occasionally I do marker pieces with no lineart, and it feels... similar. [image]
I make Commissions for Vtubers and lots of Supernatural doodles. I also make original art involving my characters or warm up doodles. Some of the latest Vtuber art that I did [image][image] Some Supernatural stuff that I did (I originally doodle some SPN requests on Tumblr) [image][image] And…
I'd love to see what kind of art people make outside of their series! I know there's all sorts of things people do from pet commissions to logo designs and so on! I personally do commissions in my free time because it's fun and I enjoy giving something that will last to other people. I do character …
I'm always super proud and awestruck by every single thing they produce, so it's really hard to pick just one. However, this particular panel from our upcoming chapter really just makes me go "wow" every time I see it. [image]
Believe it or not, I didn‘t make lineart on this one, which I found to be a personal achievement! [image]
Here's mine. I was so proud of this i almost cried lol. [image]
the posterboy for my series is definitely one of the cutest! [image]
The (almost) always smiling and energetic sunshine in the group of depressed kids with issues, Karen [image] [image] [image] (updated her canon design to include freckles recently. freckles = cuteness instantly goes up)
Bad color choices really turn me off. I’ve seen so many give off big MS paint energy regardless of the quality of the art itself. I’d rather read (and tbh do often) a comic with a nice palette and not so great art than a nicely drawn comic with weird MS paint colors. I’m also not a huge fan of…
