Sure, I'm at work now. I'll take a look later

I would really appreciate a review for Kalwa if you have the time. I'd really like to find out if it's any good and what we could improve on. Thanks much.

I've been working on my comic KALWA for over a year, we've just finished Chapter 4. The comic is posted to both Smackjeeves and Tapastic, yet despite getting a fair number of views, the audience doesn't seem to grow and I can't get past a certain number of subscribers on either site. I've constant…

Well first of all, there will always be backlash on something, it's just something that you gotta deal with. Also a little advice me friend told me once, you really should' worry so much. Rebecca Black did a pretty crappy music video and it still got famous and popular. As for your story, I don…

Depends on the panel, I'd say maybe five minutes for the actual panel, though I usually base my time more on the actual page. It also depends if I get really self conscious on the background or something lol

I say, don't put it off, but maybe schedule at a certain time. My pages get published on Wednesdays and Fridays, at about noon. So I don't say wait a whole week but if you feel it's a little late in the afternoon for a decent audience, wait till tomorrow.

Are there groups on Tapastic? Where would they be?

I was more into TV as well, but actually what you have there, I was raised on Sonic comics and Garfield as well. I was also raised on comics based of my favorite TV shows such as Batman the animated series.

Well my comic doesn't get much flow, so the answer is simply no. We preplan our work, and stay on the path, but if anybody points things we out, we consider it and see if we could work it into the story we have planned. In terms of story ideas, well not many suggestions so far, but if anyone does h…

Welcome, allow me to introduce my comic Kalwa, we are currently working our way through chapter 3. I'll check out your comic as well.

Simply put, yes. Though recently I have discovered there is more to life than sitting downstairs and drawing. I keep myself working because I want this story finished and If I don't do it it won't get done. Lately I work myself hard for two nights, then maybe relax on video games before going bac…

It depends on the situation. If you were going to professionally publish maybe, but for the most part I say don't worry about it. For me, I always give my comics a window of opportunity, I have a small amount of time, once that passes, I don't like to go back and revise. Because the more time you…

The stuff that was on TV when I was kid. It rings in my head all the time and keeps me going today.

Build your fanbase and keep working at it, soon that revenue will start going up.

Welcome to tapastic, and I took a look at your comic. Your actually not off to a bad start, seven subscribers with 139 views. So let me offer my feedback if you don't mind. Your comic looks to be the start of something great, a cute bunny with an onion. Your art isn't bad, but could use some tw…

Honestly, keep working, be patient, and be friendly. I myself don't have many subscribers and feel a bit down at times (I actually feel below many others on this site). Reaching out an commenting on others might help you or at least tell people you exist. Honestly, the subscribers will rise when …

wise advice and I've been working on my comic nearly a year. Every so often I find the subscriber count creeping up on me and I get depressed, I was actually really down this December. But we come to create and need to find the strength to keep going, even in the worst of times.

Wow, it must really be hard to get an animated series out there, cause that are is good, and it looks like your already building quite the audience.

My comic Kalwa, I do it for fun, but I hope one day it gets popular enough to launch some kind of franchise. Have an animated series, or a movie. I'm trying to not dream too big out of my league, but I do dream of it going somewhere like that. Right now I just want to establish and audience to ho…

This is a part of drawing that requires scribbling. I will admit, I get stuck at time. But like I said, when you draw your figures, scribble, scribble, scribble, and slowly this will get you into the habit of drawing curves, and thus you will be drawing hair.

So I don't know if the is temporary or not, or my computer is acting up, but now when I go to Deviant Art, the front page no longer seems to exist , now it just gives the me the groups in these giant in your face bundles. So once again, good luck getting noticed to all of you out there, things just…

nice shading and line work, and the backgrounds look great too.

Nice style, it's very reminiscent of classic shonen style. Here's mine for KALWA, this is Chapter 2's cover. [image]

Here's mine, KALWA, the story of of a bored teenage girl who discovers a time traveling cell phone and embarks on a serious of adventures in past eras. We also have KAIJU ACADEMY which is a strip style comic about a school for Kaiju monsters.

The second one, the shades are better and it looks less flat. Also the camera point is farther away so you can get a better shot of the background.

Thanks much for your review. I'm very happy that we earned a 7.5. The beginning was slightly rushed, because we wanted get the basic need to establish out of the way. We are now done with introductions so it's fun stuff ahead, and thanks for subscribing.

Heres my comics. First is KALWA which follows the story of a teenage girl whose just move back to her home land of Finland. Shortly after her return, she discovers a time traveling cell phone and embarks on a series of adventures within different eras of time. The second is KAIJU Acadmey which…

Yes I do think Tapastic is much more friendly, haven't seen many nasty comments and more importantly the site is much more active than several other sites. Also the nice thing is it's a place for originality, not sex and fan art like Deviant Art.

wow, that must take forever, all this people and shades.

alright then, thanks for letting me know.
