Just got a new cover, one uses the old title card, the other has a simpler design. Currently using the simpler one, but I've gotten conflicting opinions from friends about which is better (one is too busy, the other is too simple). So yeah, would appreciate some help figuring it out. Thanks to anyone who votes!

I like the logo of the first one, but it doesn't have high enough contrast for the title and subtitle to be distinguishable from the background. I would suggest using gold or pink to make it more distinct or adding a drop shadow. Adding filigree elements in the background might also help it feel more connected to the rest of the piece and also highlight the subtitle.

if this doesn't appeal then cover 2 seems more cohesive

Yeah, the old cover the logo comes from had a little frame around it so it fit better like you said, kinda more balanced. Thank you for your suggestions and vote!

Okay, so it looks like I'm sticking with the simpler one and using the landslide win to question my friends' design choices. :smug_01:

Thanks to everyone who voted! Sorry I don't have "I voted" stickers but you can have a pumpkin because it's cute. :pumpkin:

I like the second one. it's easier to read and I feel like the logo in the first example is a bit distracting from the rest of the image. Nicely done!

Gonna be honest, I used it to cover the bits I got too lazy to finish when I made the old one in a rush. :sweat_02: You're right, it's definitely too distracting and I was worrying about the legibility. Thank you for the feedback!

Second one. It is so merry (idk the proper word, hard to explain. Like crowded?) in the upper part and it's better that anyone to lose focus on what should be the focus (a.k.a the men)
