I've started a new series with my friend Kith. We put a lotta thought and random ideas into the lore and things for our story, and it was really fun???
I wanted to see what everyone else has come up with. Feel free to share your novel and tell us about the lore bellow!
And if anyone is interested, here's our series. I would share the lore but.. since it's new, too many spoilers. Maybe later?

My multiverse was getting so complicated that I had to write things out for my own reference. The lore begins on page 13.

Here's one of the more interesting things. After the first rush of transdimensional traffic and trade, an overload of paradoxes caused the most developed dimensions to disappear. They simply stopped existing and no one could go back into them. The survivors were not about to give up the power to cross dimensions, but they set very strict rules on its use.

Well, I'll take a stab at it, if you're interested in knowing! Here's our synopsis-

Mmmmmm, it might be hard to pick something. What would you like to know? History? Their culture? Maybe how the Blood came to be? I'd be happy to explain!

Mine started out with me getting a promt that goes with "A giraffe gave me a knife and told me to kill people" and that's how it began.

The lore of my story revolves around reapers going back into the earth to hunt the spirits bounded by their desire to live to set them free. In this story, all grimp reapers are people who died of suicide and their ability is based upon their cause of death or the reason why they killed themselves. It's just a "fun slice of life" filled with terrible people doing terrible things.

If you're interested, you could check them here.

Mine is cosmic horror so that's what the lore revolves around. The main characters work for a secretive Society (which has a background that is spoilers) that investigates supernatural occurrences(kinda like the BPRD but back in the 1920's). Ghosts are impressions caught in a alternative timeloop and most of the undead activity revolves around my undisclosed mythology of the Society and the Guant Queen.

Jade Kingdoms is a heavy-lore driven novel, but I unveil it is small dosages. Basically, branding of emotional turmoil on time fabrics, echoes of atemporal connections returning to blend past, present and future together, the consequences of the butterfly effects coming back to storm on the current generation because the previous one didn't know how NOT to scrw things up- and a lot more. :3

In a nutshell, emotional branding and time-related theories coming to life.

The fact that there's so much variety is amazing. I've been looking through some of these and I have to say it's actually kind of inspiring??? Keep 'em coming guys this is so fun.

The lore in my world works through the story in fragments. At any point, you know as much as the MC does. But the premise stands as a world fractured with immortality, corrupt with power, so much so that war is looked at as a humane way to cull the growing population. But even that doesn't stop Nilheim, a catastrophic yet slow disaster that's already eaten a third of the world, encroaching Mioverold in inches, created as nature's countermeasure to a flawed world and overpopulation.

If you're interested, do give it a read. I'm sure you'll enjoy it

The lore of Secunda is based around three major things.
1. It's a historical fantasy so the state of the world is similar to how things have actually played out up through the current time of 1905.
2. Cryptid-like monsters exist.
3. Witches exist as a minority. But they aren't terribly powerful and the general public see them as how we see things like fortune tellers and new age healers today.
