I like how everybody seems to avoid the ending question, or just answer with NO

I was prepared to be worried... but I think my Jake passes the Jake test :smirk:

  1. A little, yes.
  2. This is a large part of the story, honestly.
  3. A decent smidge of suspense for certain topics
  4. I’ll tell you when I figure that out :joy:

As for my short story, considering the stakes are life and death...

  1. Definitely!
  2. For a fun twist, yes :smirk:
  3. Absolutely! :tada:
  4. in my best River Song voice “Spoilers!” :blank:
  1. YES!
  2. Well... maybe... kind of?
  3. DOUBLE YES!
  4. No guarantees! :hushed:

I'm game, but I'll have to separate for my 3 current stories, plus the one that's due to release:

1: Does your story have Exciterment?

Finding Work - Yes! With swordfights!
The Shopkeeper - Things get very hectic towards the end, more fighting! So Yes!
Brooders - No fights in this one, but Garson is very excitable!
Lady Forista - Part 3 will have a LOT of excitement. That one won't be out for a while though.

2: Romance?

Finding Work - Not unless you count Arya calling Cheri hun.
The Shopkeeper - Arin just wants to go home, no romance for them
Brooders - Yes! This one has a very lighthearted romance (and a very lgbt-friendly one at that!)
Lady Forista - There's a lot of romantic subtext, and things are set up for me to explore a romance between the two characters. Forista's will likely be a slow-burn GL over the course of her adventures.

3: Suspense?

Honestly all of my stories have a healthy amount of suspense. Even ones that lack action have heavily suspenseful moments within them.

4: A happy ending

Finding Work - Yes
The Shopkeeper - Not... really? It's not a bad ending so much as he just sort of manages
Brooders - This ending got happy tears from @Gramkrackerhan so I'm going to say yes. (thanks Gram)
Forista - Yes, for the most part.

That was a lot but with so many short stories I had to include them all. The nice thing is any of these stories can be pick or choose, so feel free to check out the one that appeals most to you!

Hmm... Well!

  1. Yes! Lots of literal over-the-top battles and heated emotions.
  2. No comment.
  3. I try to give those sweet cliff hangers when they're needed lol!
  4. No comment!

: D

1.I guess?
2.Never, I'm the last person that should be writting romances. My aro self doesn't really get it.
3.Yes
4.No comment.

1: Yep!
2: Spoilers, sweetie.
3: I guess
4: Of course!

  1. I hope so...? It's not exactly action heavy lol
  2. Yes but it's not the main focus
  3. Yes
  4. Hmmmmmmmm
  1. Yes
  2. Eventually. Kind of. It’s a long way off and will be more in the background...
  3. There’ll be some
  4. I don’t like writing tragedies.

1)yes
2)yes

  1. you'd be surprised how intense a comic about regular degular humans on the 70s can be.
  2. that's an important plot point, yes. :3
  3. do you know how many fucked up things happen in my comic. i think edwin and pantucci's relationship is the most messed up slow burn, if you can even call it that.
  4. that's a spoiler! also, we haven't even rped that part yet.

Interesting...my story's just started, but with no spoilers...

  1. Yes!
  2. Yes, but the relationships aren't always the most healthy...
  3. The story is about solving a nesting doll of mysteries, so if I write things well, yes.
  4. Well...

Here's the comic:
