I didn't exactly start my comic this year, but I did start posting pages weekly, which has been such a great experience! I've also been introduced to a lot of comics and creators both here and on twitter. The webcomic community is really special and I'm so happy to be a part of it! I also tabled at a convention for the first time this year, which was a ton of fun.

Health-wise, I had surgery earlier which fixed something that had been causing me a lot pain for a while, and I also overcame some bad anxiety, and both of those have really helped my ability and motivation to keep creating comics.

Oh, and this isn't really an accomplishment, but I got this cute puppy this year!

I finally got to go to a couple of conventions and promote my print series The Clique like I had been wanting to do since I started working comics again a couple years back. Not only that, but I started doing my Ray Thunder webcomic as well. It was hard, coz I was trying to adjust to working on a weekly webcomic- but I think I did okay. I'm now trying to make my online presence consistent- trying to draw eyes to my comic as well as my art. 2016 wasnt a really bad year art wise...I'm just trying to build on it & start trying to make somewhat a living off my comic and art.

Reaching over a year working on my webcomic with over 200 pages It's my first comic and I'm happy to have stuck with it. It's been a lot of fun and happy to have some dedicated readers and fan art, too! I am very grateful!

Nothing huge, just the fact that my comic's sub count is larger than my page count (12) on both here and Comicfury. Not by a massive amount or anything, like 19 here and 16 on Fury, but it still feels like somewhat of a success to me.

That's usually a good sign right, when your comic has more subs than pages?

Going from having pretty much no subscribers to a small, but passionate audience for my comic Life of an Aspie all thanks to the one thing I never thought to give a try. Networking. Now that I'm getting serious about the production of my little comic including a massive revamp of Chapters 1-4 so that people here like @UzukiCheverie who want to read LoaA, but keep getting turned off by my current mediocre at best art may finally give it a fair chance with an improved presentation, my main goal for 2017 comics wise is to grow my audience as much as I can and with art that won't want to make people run for the hills, I think 2017 is honestly going to be my year not just in that regard, but as a general content creator.

I finished my webcomic This Mortal Coil: The Rabbit and the Moon after 4 years of on/off work. I finished serializing it on my 36th birthday back in May and now I can work on other projects including a second episode for This Mortal Coil.

I also put together a coloring book based on some illustrations I did of my main character in TMC which is on sale on Amazon right now. I also put together a physical graphic novel version of the aforementioned comic, but it's yet to see the light of day anywhere -- I haven't even gotten the proof yet.

I also published two indie mobile games on iOS and Android.

2016 was pretty bad for the world, but I felt like I had a lot of good successes.

Nailing down that weekly update schedule and getting ahead with a substantial buffer.
Acquiring patrons!? What the what? It finally actually happened and I love it.

2016 was an interesting year.
Here are some of my succeses:

• Started my webcomic Stuff That Totally Happened and kept continuing it, even though I changed the schedule to fit my free time better from weekly to monthly
• Did lot of progress for the visual novel project Nova: Synthesis Creaturum
• Took part in AniNite Vienna's fanart contest and won the first place
• Got a spot for an artwork in the Artastic Girls Collection artbook, my first participation in an artbook
• Started local artist meetups because there weren't any yet; I already met a lot of nice people that way
• Lost about 15 kilogramm/ 33 pounds, improved my diet, developed a habit of doing more sports, started meditation
• Traveled all alone with a plane for the first time (For me that's something! XD)

I'm quite happy about that and will try to keep it up. =)

Um, let's see … 2016 …

got married and pulled off the subsequent wedding.
bought a new car with the husband.
in the process of getting a house for my in-lows, should close before year's end.

and as far as comics go,
finished and printed Erie Waters.
continued to grow my general audience for all my series.
started another comic.

For me, was being able to print my comic and sell at conventions. : )

I've been planning and prepping to get into a convention since December last year and I swore to myself that I will get to exhibit into one on 2016... and I did and I'm so happy that I was able to exhibit on not just one but FIVE conventions in a year (altho I'm bad at sales LOL)

I was also able to draw all the pages of The Robonoid Fan and have a buffer that will last for one year.

I'm happy that I'm doing well at Tapastic and Line Webtoons. Finally got the patreon at Webtoon and also a dollar at Tapastic. and Fanarts from my supporters which i really appreciated most. I didn't really expect that they will love comic.... I made many friends and they adding me at instagram and Line.

Well, i got enough money to afford a drawing tablet and i have been starting to do the rough sketch of a comic that i wanted to do a while ago. Also learning a lot of stuff from drawing, inking and just having fun with all of these things.

Oh, and reviving my DA account with my draws. Sometimes people give me a fav and that feels great, i think it's a small start but it's okay to at least have done it this year.

Wow! A lot of great, positive success stories here! I'm seeing this on my facebook thread and I think it's a great way to look back on the year.
Let's see for our comic:

• Finishing the first issue of The Pale
• Self printed 300 copies of first issue (was also my first experience printing something)
• Tabled at my first con, promoting The Pale and sold some quick sketches for the first time
• Sold over 200 copies
• Entered The Pale on Comixology Submit
• Started a website & patreon for The Pale
• Growing the audience in general
• hearing from readers about The Pale (they enjoy it enough to actually seek out & write to us!)
• being recognized from comic peers for The Pale's writing (the StArt Faire awards!)
• Interacting more with the web community and making, meeting, new friends and peers! (my fav)
