I feel like I spend more time admiring my workspace than actually doing some work ...

1 month later

So I just got a new workspace! A coworker of mine who's moving away soon was selling a bunch of her furniture and I BOUGHT THE DESK AND NOW I'VE UPGRADED FROM THE COUCH TO A BIG KID WORKSPACE AAAAH <3

The posters were already there but the way they were aligned to begin with is just perfect <3 AND IT'S NEXT TO THE TV SO I CAN STILL TORTURE MY BOYFRIEND WITH AMERICAN DAD RERUNS, AAWWWW YISSSSS

I hope several pictures aren't a problem. Forgive me for having a bit of a messy workplace. My game room doubles as my workspace. I've basically converted my pool/table tennis table into a side desk, while I have my art desk stationed beside it in the middle of the room.

Here's another angle of my station, but facing one of my video game walls. I like to have the cover art facing out like a game rental store. It's just more interesting to look at. While it could be deemed as a distraction, I mostly keep my eyes down on my work, anyway.

Here's a close up of my laptop, desk and cintiq 13hd touch, with my comic https://tapastic.com/series/Dont-Be-A-Hero1 on the screen.

Finally, I just had to share this. My wife made this bead art of my main character, Gemini, in Scott Pilgrim-sprite style, as an early Father's Day present. It's my first fan art, and I can't help but grin at the charm and inspiration it brings to the table for me, just by looking at it.

I really do need to get a comfier chair soon, as well as a desktop computer someday. Really, I just need an office.

is that your guinea pig, i have a guinea pig that looks almost exactly like that (which i guess isn't too special but--)

i'm jealous of some of these gorgeous desk setups! i have a nice desk in my room at school but during breaks(like right now) i'm sequestered to the edge of the couch in my living room. there's a coffee table pretty close to me but i have a 13 inch display and poor vision so i usually opt for the ol' "plop the tablet directly onto keyboard and hope for the best" technique

i'm upgrading to an intuos pro soon so i guess i'll have to clear off some space somewhere so i don't damage my equipment

i'm also considering this position which is better for my cords, keyboard, and neck but is overall pretty horrible

@dylankeefer1 and @Tentakustar - Thanks, I'm glad you like the look. I just find that most people face their media spine out, and while it's a better space saver, they miss out on all of the beautiful art unless they pull them all out one by one.

Mine's quite boring compared to the rest of yours! But this is where I make West.
