I sent in mine but I think I should've formatted my sample comic differently. I didn't take into account that maybe it wouldn't occur to the judges that the images I sent are supposed to be stacked on top of each other to read as a webtoon :_:

Anyway, good luck to all applicants!

i want to but i dont think theyll be too fond of 13 main/regular characters :'v

Sounds like a really complex story! Have you tried breaking it down? A friend of mine is working on a story with about ten mains and their stories are woven together. That's one approach.

Hm. Crickets. Is there any reason why not too many people are submitting, or admitting they're submitting?

I am, still getting it ready. I was messy last time so want to make sure this one is done right. In all honestly, the Incubator program plus the Webtoon contest plus the BL one just announced has been a bit overwhelming. Still thinking bout how to approach it.

I took a pass on the writer's camp because I only have a small window to write each day and my own series is so close to being completed. Maybe it's like that for other creators.

I would go with "If the idea of joint ownership isn’t comfortable with you, please don’t feel obligated to apply."

It's a shame it's happening at such an inconvenient time for me - I've got tonnes of stuff going on such as moving homes, working full time... And all my spare art time is going into my current comic!
Whether or not I apply depends on how the next couple of weeks go, really... I don't want my existing comic to have to go on hiatus for this project, because I just came off hiatus for it recently...............

I am working on a submission but I am not sure if I can finish it in time. >_> Lots of stuff went down this month and the past month.

While both this and the webtoons contest both sound fun, they're happening at a really bad time in my comic-making life to actually try for them.

Besides the fact that I have very little experience atm (this alone wouldn't dissuade me, though) I've also just started drawing my first one-shot recently. Although it could technically qualify for webtoon's contest if I tweaked the upload schedule a little bit, I'm not willing to drop it to try to develop a new idea for either contest. So I'm passing on these ones, sadly.

I do have an idea for what I'd like my hypothetical next comic to be, though, so maybe if there's another incubator program in a year or so that might be my time >;D

Im not sure a story i have in mind will be picked by them. Sure, it might be marketable but i dunno, i think they may turn it down.
Its a story ive been thinking and noting on for a year. Im thinking about combing it with other stories ive thought on to create one big juicy story.
