I got a "new" PC to replace my last one, and it's running Vista 32-bit. I have an older copy of Firefox. Most websites work fine, except for Tapas and a few others. On this PC, I can't:
- Like posts
- View episode lists
- Go back or forward a page
- See activity
- Edit novel pages (it clears any existing text if I input any characters)
Is there a workaround or a way to maybe load it in "mobile mode" or something?

I don't suppose Windows Vista comes with a free update to a later version of Windows? :sweat_02:

Using Windows Vista and going online isn't something I'd really recommend for security reasons. Linux would honestly be a better option (and I'm saying that as somebody who's not really a big Linux person) or getting a cheap version of Windows 7 (which will still be supported with updates for... a couple more years).

Vista! Wow that is a long time ago!
Ummm maybe using a different browser... I am not sure. How does Edge/Internet Explorer deal with it?

@darthmongoose Not unless someone has a spare Windows 7 key they wanna dm me ;-3

@sushy00 Edge is too new to install, and Internet Explorer is even worse.

The good news is, even though my Wacom Intuos Comic doesn't work on this computer, the Huion H420 I just got DOES work, without any special workarounds.

Well... there are less legal ways to obtain a newer copy of Windows, though of course i should not describe any of them here. It was what i did a few years ago when i got sick of nothing supporting winxp anymore, lol. I hope you have a decent antivirus software, adblock and are very cautious with browsing, otherwise tough luck.

I would, but I just had to deal with a laptop running an illegitimate Windows 7, and it was actually worse. And the people that sold this PC to me left a copy of McAfee Plus, which is pretty good.

I'd try a different browser (Chrome maybe) &/or ensure you've got the last Firefox update available. Of course the OS limits you as to what you can get for the browser versions.

You might be able to get away with Palemoon or Brave as alternative browsers to Firefox to see if they work.
