Colouring.
Fuck colouring.
I really don't like at all, but you know, readers and stuff.

@carloswebcomic dont mind coloring; just groaning coz it's gonna be a bitch learning color/theory. Right now I get by with some stuff, but I want my colors to be better than what they are now coz I dont have a full grasp on applying theory; was NEVER taught to me at art school.

I love having the ideas. Sometimes it's a struggle to get them to turn into comics, but that's fun too. Pencilling can be fun. I keep mine loose enough to make inking fun too. Coloring is a joy. Lettering and erasing can fuck right off.

I think the most boring thing for me is backgrounds. The plotting, writing and character art is so fun for me though. There's not much about comic making that I don't like.

Building the timeline and world is the most fun part for me. It really makes me think about our world and the decisions we make.

Colour theory? I don't even know what that is! I just throw colours together till they look good.

The fun thing for me happens before and after the comic illustration. Fun to imagine and fun to view after the imagination is down to paper. The boring part is trying to UN-BORE a boring scene.

Backgrounds are actually okay for me. Buildings and natural environments are nice. I could draw happy trees all day long.

Interior scenes can just go die in a fire though.

The single most boring and frustrating moment is when I sit down to start drawing thumbnails of an upcoming chapter and. nothing. happens. I just sit there, staring at a blank page, for HOURS. I'll try drawing a layout for a page 15 times, and every time it comes out wrong.

Once I've managed to get a couple of page-thumnails right, it's like that big invisible wall crumbles and everything gets easier - but the first couple of pages of a chapter? Disaster every time. ;_;

The most FUN part of making comics is probably, uh, everything else that isn't "draw repetitive details in environments, including but not limited to rooftiles, bamboo forests, paving stones and stairs".

I really genuinely do enjoy 99% of comics-creation.

my favorite part is backgrounds, my least the
characters. especially my main one, which is kind of unfortunate. fml

Coloring is super monotonous to me. I do very basic coloring but even when I try to add detail it just seems like a very long and boring process. Maybe that's more of a reflection on the simple comics I make rather than the actual act of coloring, but still not a fan.

The most fun I have is making really weird line art and watching it come to life.

There is just something satisfying with each line added or taken away you can dramatically alter an illustration.

My favorite part is drawing the expressions of the characters I use. As well as drawing their bodies. He most boring part is well... I d on'ta actually recall being bored with ever doing my comic. ^-^

Drawing backgrounds is something I put off doing until last. The best part, for me, is doing the figure drawing. It's great fun doing athletic figures for me as there's so many limps and bumps to tuck in to.

It really depends all on my mood, what kind of day I'm having, and how close I may be to a deadline. Sometimes (more often than not), sketching out my scene is incredibly fun and satisfying, but there are days where nothing will seem to work for me, and I'll just churn out crap. I'm starting to colour my next page for the first time, and while it has been very monotonous and hard to wrap my head around, I'm now really enjoying it as it's finally coming together. Inking is very satisfying to do, but I'll usually need a whole day for it, and depending on how detailed the scene is, it can become very tiresome. Especially on the wrist. I think text and bubbles are the least fun, but my scene really comes together once it's all up. I guess I'd have to say that writing is the most boring part for me, because while I do have days where I have a ton of fun crafting my story and writing fun dialogue exchanges, most of the time I will sit there, spaced out and drooling, as I can't think of one word to type down. So yeah, pencilling is the most fun, writing is the least fun.

I have to agree with you @MissMagicGirl, the characters are the best part of a page and the backgrounds are the worst for me too (slowly but surely I am liking doing the BG more and more, but they are still one of my major weak spots ^^; ).

I also find figuring out the page layouts/ doing thumbnails tedious. X__X

Right! Characters are always fun but backgrounds are (no matter how cool they are when done) always a bit tedious ^^;

My favourite part about making comics is coming up with the story, sketching it and seeing my characters come to life. The boring part? Lineart. Definitely lineart for me.
