Tapas' standard PST timezone that is auto-filled in.

The 7am time also catches Europe mid-afternoon as well, which is always good

If you have quality content, you can get away with being a bit more laissez-faire with the timings, but that's usually after you've already built a fanbase that has got used to having consistently updated and good quality works - people who already have the eyeballs as it were. For the rest of us, it's just about playing around during peak traffic times.

Honestly, daily updates work very well for novels as well (but I appreciate that would cause carpal tunnel syndrome for most artists!)

@skicoak I think the most reliable is to follow US time zone? I heard it somewhere. CMIIW

If the question is about me, I upload once or twice a month. I just need to gather courage and effort worth two weeks to fight my doubts just for a chapter, I'm just stupid.

Whatchu talkin' bout; 'the rest of you'?? I'm pretty sure I still fit into the category of 'the rest of you'; that was/is my debut comic on Webtoon; I didn't have any 'built fanbase' to rely on either...

I mean, I when I said 'most successful', that doesn't necessarily mean it was EXTREMELY successful. It's just the most successful I've ever been. To be honest, what I've achieved there seems to fall far below most people's threshold of 'success' on that site...

It was a general 'you' and a general 'us' I was using. Not 'you' as in 'DokiDokiTsuna'.

It was in response to a point you made and meant to further the discussion. Nothing more.

I tried to post early in the morning my time at first and then went to pretty much whenever the comic was done. I've settled on midnight Tuesday and Thursday as my main update days. If I have extra comics done I might post one over the weekend. I also post older episodes to other art galleries on these days which helps bring in a couple more views to the fresher comics.

Commutes are a hard thing to time because of time zones. Whose commute am I aiming for? East coast? West coast?

I haven't found any magical time myself. Consistency seems to matter the most--just making sure those updates keep coming.

I never really thought about updates but I just started a schedule of updating on Fridays. Its one of the best times for me to publish chapters and revisions that I need.

The real answer is, "Who is your audience?" Different demographics check/look for comics at different times.

I always schedule my updates for 12pm EST, according to Tapas. I figure it will be most people's lunchtime (while I am asleep, hooray for timezones)

I just upload it when it is finished. I have no planning lol

I am planning on updating my comic with a new episode every Friday at 13:00 pm PST.
I know it is a gimmick.

i personally post on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 5 PM EST, i tried 6 and noon, this didnt do much

I schedule my updates for Mondays and Fridays at 5 PM PST, but I honestly can't tell if it's a good update time for me or not? Like, sometimes when I update I'll get a nice surge of traffic, and other times it's quiet or I get a surge the next day somehow instead? So it's hard to tell what's working lol. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I update Mondays + Fridays at 12PM PST

I wanted to space out updates, but still update twice a week so Monday/Friday gives me the weekend to prepare

12PM pst just sounded like a good time, lmao. it's around 21:00 where I'm from, and while I can schedule posts on Tapas I have to be able to physically hit the publish button on Webtoon, since I'm cross posting :sob:

It's up to you really so long as it stays consistent. I personally try to do 3-5pm on Fridays
