@Calculus_Homework try this link Hopefully it works or I can try and invite you
@Calculus_Homework From what I can remember, I'm pretty sure Tapas has done Springiving before, though I could be wrong. It's unfortunate that they had to postpone, but for me I expect the event to occur two times a year. Maybe they're not doing that anymore.
Again, more fairytale stuff [image]

Hey, did you draw or commission your cover art? I ask because it looks like AI and that's not allowed on Tapas.

hmm... Okay, I was just curious.
How long... did this take you?
I would hope not as art is subjective and you don't seem like a quiet master amongst amateurs.
Oh, so it's a failed attempt? You weren't really looking for any type of actual input, were you?
Why do the birds look like stamps? And what's the point of putting a black bird on a dark shadowed figure. [image] It looks fine. It's a very non-complex drawing so there's not much to say about it unless it was more detailed.
It's good, not great in my opinion. I don't say that to be cruel, just honest from my perspective. If you're going for realism, it could use some work, especially with the road in the first picture. But if you're going for stylized, then it's pretty well done. And I hope you're looking for biased…
This is what we in the business call, yikes!
I agree. There's so much going on that it hurts the coherence of the narrative. To an extent, I agree. To be fair to the author here, it's not as though they do have explanations for things, it's just, in my opinion, they don't make much sense. There's more context here that I have a hard time…
Yes, of course. I'm sorry to have implied otherwise.
Oh, the battles you've fought in the commission trenches... yo, when did you get back? I missed it
To the extent that I need to for now, yes. But the way I draw things could always be better.
Damn, what did they say? Also, I'm a woman. Just a drawing without context could mean anything. Were you asking for advice on the expression? The hand? The face proportions? The lighting? Or the overall drawing? God forbid any one asks for clarification. I give it a 6.5/10
@alirian800 What are you asking for here?
No, you're fine as your advice is warranted, regardless. If I was in the same position this person was, I'd like to hear that too.
@BoomerZ Now, why are you coming out here and saying what I'm thinking? It was supposed to be subtle. But, yea I have to agree. I see what you mean. Like ideas came, but the connecting with each other in a complementary way kinda was left on the back burner for the sake of more. Yea, I woul…
It's hard to go into what I'm trying to get at here, but I'm dealing with a setting (not in my own stories, I want to make that clear) whereI'm having issues with the worldbuilding. It's modern, pretty much present day. There are thrift shops, card games, the internet, and normal everyday vehicle…

When I read graphics, I was so confused for a second. I was thinking, "Graphics? Drawing isn't a videogame!" But, I guess for you it's a fill-in-the-blank type situation.
Oh, I meant how many pages is the word document that you write each of your scripts in, not how many "pages" result from drawing from your script.
That's about the same for me too, about thirty pages for 5-7 pages of script. And since it's not panel by panel, you know it ends up shorter. Except this later chapter of mine, 7 page script, 54 page chapter... never again.
Asking for a friend. Oh, who am I kidding. They're not my friend. 1-5 6-10 11-15 16-20 21-25 25+ 0voters Show results And it doesn't have to be a full page, just, if you go to the page count of your document, about how many pages is it? Personally mine stay in the 1-10 range leaning toward…
@jwabeasley and @KowaiWasTaken thanks for the responses. Yea it does sound generic and could use some work. Maybe some better ideas will come about if and when I get to writing actual chapters [:sweat_02:]
So, the story (it'll be a novella or novel) is about a group of ghosts that travel in the direction of the sun that continually sits at the horizon line, like a perpetually sunset. A series of... unfortunate events occur along the way as the main character ends up at the edge of the horizon. Can't g…
It sounds like you've done a lot with social media already. Maybe you could do a countdown until release to boost your content's noticibility in the algorithms of Instagram and/or bluesky. Maybe start 5-10 days before you start posting. But to be fair, I have an instagram for my comic that's been de…
Depends on the panel. Sometimes the characters are the focus, so the backgrounds can be simple gradients. Other times I'm drawing an establishing shot, so the background/location is of more importance.
No, this is my fault. What kind of response was I expecting?
