I really slowed down posting here after I got my 5th yacht. I suspect maybe others are also getting too many yachts as well.
Steampunk is traditionally a sub-genre of science fiction in other formats...can't go wrong putting it there. Just strive to make it clear on the cover that it's steampunk.

There's also times, when as a creator, you join a project based on a sales pitch that doesn't fully line up with the actual nuts and bolts of the project. The time and energy commitment doesn't add up in the new situation so the situation changes.
