Considering how I pretty much wanna exclusive make short series at the moment, movie-length anime is pretty much perfect for me

12/24 episodes or more (like 52)

2 seasons

It would encompass a lot about the comic and the stories in it, plus I do have like a continuation planned when I feel like the current comic has hit it's course

I'd stick with one season/movie since my creation pace is wack, thanks
If I get screenwriters to collab then I wouldn't mind having a few seasons (tho they better not use unnecessary stretching)

I think I would want the first option or a mini series (longer episodes)].

I don't think there is enough content to fill more than 2 seasons, even if I added notes for additional content.

10 minute webisodes, maybe ten to a dozen of them per series

Understand, I am very disciplined about editing my own text down to its tightest and more impactful form feasible. I once sawed a first draft of a magazine article down to less than a third of its original size, and that ended up being the one and only article of mine ever published. There is no wasted space and not a lot of material to actually put on screen.

@MEGAMAMMU ...but good things can come out of stretch. Some episodes -- which were clearly intended to be filler -- end up being fan favorites.

@Messaff Are you thinking of the Mob Psycho anime or the live action?

I think my series Puffycharms is too short to fit into an anime, but would be perfect for a hetalia style anime. Also I got tired of waiting for my series to be picked up for a comic dub so I started making it myself.

I'd aim for an animated series, there’s waaaay too much for a single movie and a lot of the smaller details can be lost in the flow of that sort of bigger format.

As for the number of episodes... I have no idea. There are definitely some chapters in my novels that I could see being smooshed into single episodes and others drawn out over 1-3 little episodes. Each book in my planned trilogies could be a seperate season or broken into 1-2 seasons.

As a fan, I like the Netflix "drop and binge" model but I would be so impatient to share news between seasons! ^.^'

Just for The Memorable Bittersweet Days, it'll need 29-30 chapters. I'd like them to be aired one after the other in a way similar to JJBA.

If we're talking of all the stories I want to make after I complete TMBD, possibly 150 or 180 chapters, plus two or three OVAs for the side stories.

Stretching more often than not it ends up being bad, that's its contrived becomes too apparent
I can name a few examples lol
If the writer puts heart in it it can work, if its just to complete something before the deadline without any concern for the story/characters it will most likely become bad

I'd probably aim for a short OVA or mini series first. If the relationship works with the animators we build up from there to make it a 10-20 episode series per season.

One of my book spans 10-20 chapters on average. I'm currently converting my first one into the graphic novel/comic medium. (I haven't had time to upload all my books yet)

One challenge I often face is breaking my novel in pictures. Breaking the novel into a comic script. Some stuff like extra dialogue or scenes sometimes don't make the final cut from the book. Each chapter can varies based on the amount of plot, dialogue, action/battle scenes involved.

I've always managed to imagine my comic being sort of on Netflix or a similar streaming service or like an anime - 20-24 episodes per season, each about 20-22 minutes long, released all at once for binging. I feel like the story could be condensed into about 3 or 4 seasons anyway.

Live action Mob Psycho 100 is on Netflix, came out late last year. It's slightly more tongue-in-cheek than the anime. The inherent goofy surrealism of a live action adaptation of anime sort of plays into the tone of this story. I mean, you've got adults playing junior high kids. I've decided that it's my favorite version of MP100.

Hmmm a TV series like Blue bloods or Rex and Hudson in the sense that each episode is 40 minutes long.

I just looked it over, Idk if it can top the 10/10 animation of the original though.

I would make Bestia's Wrath a trilogy, true to Star Wars format, but I'd make it an animated movie. I have 3 main arcs planned out, and each would be a separate movie.

Well I am big fan of Korean dramas..and I prefer watching 16 epi dramas more than 20 epi type.
So for my novel also ,I ll try to cover it in 16 episodes.:grinning::grinning:

A 7 season Anime with 1 hour specials for important fights. The seasons would be from 24 to 48 episodes depending on the arc. I'd love to have a movie of the last season though. Also, I'd want it to be animated by David Productions, MAPPA, Studio Bones or Ufotable. One of those studios would do it justice.

For an anime adaptation, I'm gonna need 24 episodes. And maybe a movie covering the epilogue

The tonal shift between the first and second half of the series is so huge that a different set of OP/ED themes is necessary.

I love thinking about the possibilities, but the reality that it'll never happen always depresses me
